Hey everybody. I've been out of the newest ecig news loop for awhile. I'm satisfied with my current setups. However sometimes when going out I just want to take a small cig-a-like to avoid all the questions. So my question, what is currently the best cig-a-like on the market ? For the record I'm open to disposables and such as long as they work. Also for reference what I currently use in this situation is some 808's with regular kanger cartos. I'm not displeased with this setup but also want something better.

I personally hate cig-a-likes and questions help convert smokers who are on the edge of quitting but not ready to leap.

That said...

I hear good things about Volt, Smoove, and Eroll. Never used one so can't speak from experience but hear good things.

Let me state I'm not on the verge of quitting smoking. I've quit smoking for vaping almost 2 years ago. I have a number of setups that work well for me. The smallest of these is are my ego like devices. Sometimes when I go out I like to take a cig-alike. So I dont have to answer 1,000 and one questions about what I'm "smoking".

Bloog, Smoov and Volt are 808 sticks with (re-)branded Kangers. pretty much what you have now, though if your 808's are particularly old most vendors have moved onto "sealed" and regulated autos now.

Though I'm sure DawnBella will be around shortly, she usually suggests the Sidesho by Modern Vapor. DawnBella knows her minis. :)

The eRoll has gotten rave reviews for the most part. It uses an atty and tank system similar to the eGo-T, 901-T, etc. It also happens to use the same atomizer as the eGo-C system, so if you're already familiar with it you have an idea of what you're getting.

The Colibri Nano/Micro is the exact same size as a king-sized cigarette. About all I know about it, really. It's available at epuffer, and at a few other places as the X3 or X4.

Without a doubt the best disposable is the NJoy King. It looks, tastes and feels almost exactly the same as a real cigarette, is the same dimensions as a real cigarette and comes in a nice plastic case with a Zippo-sounding hinge. It really is worth trying out, although it is $8.00 just for one.

Good luck!

Smokeless Image cartos are not the same as standard Kangers...they are much better and I have tried both.

Anyway a Volt manual with carto is what I use everyday for out and about.

Ya I've read a bit about the King from Njoy. I am very interested but I've read it lasts an extremely short time and at $8 dollars a pop it would have to be used very sparingly. So it might work for going out ,however I do have some interest in using a cig-a-like at work as well in order to avoid the odd looks and sometimes awkward looks. It sounds like the King would be too expensive for that. Never the less I did order a "free" sample from njoy's website. My hope is that if I use it more like analogs ,only a few puffs at a time, then it might last longer than expected.
Does anyone have any more info or links for either the sidesho or colibri products. Specifically looking for reviews or pricing. Also curious if they use any normal connections like 808 or 510 or are they both proprietary. I'm off to check out the e-roll more in depth as info on that is much easier to come by.

DawnBella is using an eRoll now. :) I use it, too, and I love it.

Yeah, I know. :)

She's also used the Nano/Micro and just about every other mini on the market. Last I checked with her, she said the Sidesho was the best mini she's tried to date. Though that was about a month ago. ;)

Both the Nano and the Sidesho are 510 connections. Due to the Nano's size, you're pretty much stuck with the included cartos if aesthetics matter at all. The Sidesho is, I think, properly a 306 or maybe even a l88b model. Either way, the Sidesho might be a better option simply because they offer both manual and auto batteries and you can buy some atties and drip tips while you're there. Though Modern Vapor is a bit over-priced.

I'm not a mini user myself, so I can only offer suggestions based on what I've heard about. I do use the NJoy as an emergency backup, and you definitely want to use it sparingly. But you'll do that anyway if you're not accustomed to 3.6% or 4.8% concentration in your juice. :D

Yeah, I have NJoys as backups for my backups, too. Love the feel, hate the taste and the price. Even the 3.6 one was too strong for me with occasional drags. Gave me a headache. But lots of vapers really love them. Whatever works.:)

If you get an eroll be sure to get an extra cone. That way you have two full complete cigs.

Very important and the cone is only a couple of bucks. I bought a couple extra cones and batteries since the batts are only eight or nine bucks. I fill tanks for all of them and just grab a new one when a tank runs dry. It's as easy as pulling a cig out of a pack only I don't need a lighter and it tastes a lot better.
