So normally i dont really care because drip tips dont do very much for basic tanks like protanks. But the PT Mini i just ordered, the tip "rattles" a lot. I actually tried switching the tips because i have more than one PT mini, and it actually seems to be the tank and not the tip?

Bottom line, the tank still vapes fine, it not like there is any leakage of liquid or air or any thing, But this whole thing got me thinking about maybe buying a drip tip for fun and maybe it wont "rattle" like the one that came with it.

Any suggestions on a type/brand of tip that is actually an upgrade?

There are so many kinds of PT Mini's, so heres a pic. Thanks!

Huh, the drip tip on this is the one thing I like about this tank. & still use.
Bummer no one chimed in yet but they will. This has been mentioned
before by some people with this tank - there's a thread here somewhere
about it.

But any 510 tip will work it will just depend on what you like the material
made of - glass, plastic, wood, acrylic & a few more. I've only tried metal,
jade & plastic so far. All fine to me but the jade has a narrow hole & seems
like I have to take a harder, longer pull so that tip is unused.

Your tip is as short as I like them to be but I prefer much longer tips.

Thank you for the input

I know what you mean; I have a Mini Protank 3 and the drip tip is so loose it actually fell off in my pocket and I lost it. I would recommend just waiting it out until you get a new tank or dripper (like an RDA or something). What I did was I just took the drip tip off of my Trident RDA and purchased a nice drip tip for the RDA. It's better than getting a new drip tip for such a cheap clearo. That's just my opinion...

Change o-rings or wrap with dental floss - that's what people do if they have a loose handmade glass tip.
Some drip tips have two o-rings for a good tight fit.

When I'm looking for something, I google image it & just look through all the photos. If I see something that appeals
to me I check out that photos website. There are soo many tips on the market and every e-cig site carries them
that it's hard to offer a recommendation.

Ok since this was started I wanted to know if anyone knows of a plastic or acrylic drip tip for the protank 2 min that contours like the metal one that comes with it. The reason for me wanting to switch isn't that I do not like the one the pt 2 mini comes with its that it adds a decent amount of weight to it and when I vape during the day at work it's kinda top heavy on an eGo battery. I was surprised as to the weight of the metal tip. Hope that all made sense.

I have a Mini PT II, and I hate the drip tip that came on it, it tastes of hot metal and nothing I do to it gets rid of that taste. However I found that because of the shape of the Mini PT II where the drip tip attaches, any other drip tip I use with it is kinda loose in the "socket" -- which I solved by simply adding a second o-ring to fit in the gap between the drip tip and socket.

Hard to describe exactly, so here's a pic, of two diff Mini PT IIs:
