Phoenix clone (rba) from Discount Vapers, $9. Holds almost 1ml (!) - no shield needed - and works awesome. One interesting thing that I love and had never thought about with my other dripping attys... it's completely silent. Strange thing to think, I know. But it's nice. :)

The best thing is it's rebuildable. And DV even sells pre-made coils if you want to take baby steps.

Where are the pre made coils? I would love to get one where I dont have to rebuild myself and can just change the coil and wick really quick like a vivi nova type head .Didnt like the vivi nova thats why I want something different.I vape at high voltage between 4.8 to 5.2 and nova always tasted bad to me. NM found the coils :)

When you say dripping atty do you mean an RBA or a disposable? For disposable, I'm really impressed with the 901 premium from EmpireMods, and hear the 510 and 306 are just as good. You can get the nicest looking drip shields from them too. Ikenvape's are very good, and Ciscos and Aeros from Avidvaper are also very reliable ones. Joye 510s can be found for very cheap in a deal pack and many swear by them.

Either disposable or something similar to the auto5 from gotvapes.I love the looks of the rebuilds but dont wanna mess with changing out the coil and wick and seems kind of tricky to make sure I do it right.I have joye lr attys but dont really like only being able to put 2 or 3 drops at a time and get burnt hits at higher voltagesand at lower voltage with them dont get enough vapor :glare:

Any disposable you'll have to add 2 to 3 drops at a time so you may want to look into a dripping or tank RBA. Don't know much about the auto5, some kind of a replaceable tank system.

I very much agree with what was said here, and I would definitely add in the Vapage AMG Hybrid Bottom Feeder Atomizer (comes in a 2-pack). It's got a slant coil to give a great flavor and hit. Robust, stable and consistent in the wicking. It also helps prevent premature death of the coils and hot-spots. It's often compared to much more expensive atties.

I've got one of these, OKC Vapes - Oklahoma's Premier Supplier of Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid, and Accessories! It's a BEAST! It doesn't travel well though, I found that out the hard way! Went to vape it on a store run and got a dry hit, came home to find all the juice on the pocket of my shirt! Yes, it's an RBA, but at $9, who cares? It comes set up and ready, use it and throw it away after you order another one!
I've heard good and bad with the HH357's, seems a few of them aren't lasting as long as they should, and at $25 each, they should!
The Ikenvape I06's get good reviews io6 Series but at $8.50ea, then a drip shield and tip, I dunno. Makes the Trivveca look good, just sayin.

I just got my first Phoenix style DIY atomizer and I love it . I didnt think I had any use for a drip atomizer but sense I diy my own juices I have been useing the standard atomizer and have not liked it much poor taste so I went ahead and got a Phoenix just to try and I love it the taste is fantastic I just wish I would have gotten one sooner.
If I get the clone from DV how long to the coils last on the RBAs before you have to replace them and is it fairly simple? Is it a must to get meter for testing them?
