You can direct drip on an ego-c but most people seem to prefer other types of atomiser. I've tried with an ego-t atomiser simply by removing the tank part (the platic bit at the top) and dripping 2-3 drops onto the spike. Whilst it worked it was nowhere near as satisfying as other atmomisers I have tried. The other problem is you need to 'tail-pipe' it, (suck on the atomiser tube without a drip tip) unless you can find a drip tip to fit as they are not a standard size.

There are lots of options out there, with some atomisers being specifically designed for dripping. I have tried DSE-901's (901 thread so you also need an adapter to fit it to 510's) and like those. My favourite so far though has been a debridged 306 LR. This is a low resistance atomiser with the bridge wick removed. It gives me super flavour and a good hit. I've been using the same one for about 3 weeks and just giving it a vodka bath to clean it as I felt it was starting to lose performance. Popped it back in and its working like new again.

You can still use the ego style batteries for dripping and many are happy with this. I prefer using a variable voltage device so that I have some control over how the atomiser behave and can tailor it to my mood or the flavour I am using.

Out of the three methods of vaping I have tried, direct dripping, cartomisers and ego style tanks, dripping wins the flavour race for me, with cartomisers second and ego tanks last.

Ditto the 306LR, though I've yet to try a bridgeless (hope to do that soon!) I also haven't used an eGo or a tank, or a VV, just my trusty E-Power 14650. I've tried 510LR & SR attys and a 306LR, and so far the 306 (from IkenVape, called an io6LR) is my hands-down favorite vape! I bought it to test new DIY juices but use it a lot just sitting at my computer; it's 2.5 months old & still going strong. As to devices they can be used on, as long as it's a manual battery and the atty resistance isn't too low for the batt it should work fine, AFAIK. I think it's the very best way to tell how a juice actually tastes, before being contaminated with filler or plastic or whatever. Just a couple thoughts from my cave. Happy Vaping! :D

Eve, I'm new to dripping but have been trying it out with a Ego-T atty that I lost the wick on. I like it! I want to buy a couple of the attys that you are talking about, what kind of drip tip would I need? It doesn't say, and it's kinda hard to tell. I've been using the "fake" mouthpiece that comes with the ego-t attys. I saved them, knew I would need them for something! LOL!

Don't drip on automatic batteries. And try to avoid dripping on unsealed manuals. If the threaded end of the battery is sealed you can drip on it.

The atomizer is a different story - most atomizers designed for tank cartridges (-T, -C) may not be good designs fro dripping. I recommend a normal 510 atomizer and 510 drip tip or a normal 306 atomizer and 306 drip tip.
