Seriously! My grandmother (age 76) wants in on the vape thing. But it has to be really, really easy. Needs to be prefilled throw-away carts. Would the KR8 be the best, as she could smoke them dry and toss them? I hear this is popular. She can afford the prefill, use, and toss. I would appreciate any help here.

I love this site and currently vape 510 w/ mega batts and a BB and mod carts galore. You all have taught me so much and got me off analogs. I'll say it again, you are all amazing! Thank You!!

Welcome Gooddawg. The kr808 is probably a good call, overall. Less maintenance than a 510/801/901. And she could refill cartos if she wants to, or buy prefilled ones too.

In general, however, I think this question would be better placed in the New Member's forum. You will get more broad based responses than in here. This forum is for more difficult technical questions. But welcome to ECF! Your thoughts about the kr808 are likely the best option for her. Good luck to you and her!

What Kurt said!

Plus:

Think about what nicotine level would be good for her and what flavor(s) she might like. [If she currently a menthol smoker, the latter is a no-brainer, although she might like some menthol carts better than others, e.g., Vapor4Life carries five different menthols.]

You want her first experience to be as positive as possible. Otherwise she may say the heck with it (as some friends and neighbors of mine have). Vapor4Life and NHaler have large selections to choose from (but they are certainly not the only good Kr8 suppliers). I've read some positive comments about V4L's new line of "Premium" cartomizers ... and other suppliers (e.g., VaporNine) probably will follow with similarly upgraded carts.

Another option might be the new 510 cartomizers, e.g., from LiteCigUSA, LiquidXpress, and VaporKings. I've heard better things about the black, large capacity, hard carts than the tan, smaller capacity, soft carts. There is less of a flavor selection with these new 510 carts. As a 510 vaper, you could try them out and see what you think.
