Hokay! New juice review time!

Attara Artisan- from Gaslight Vapor - The Standard in Quality Vaping Hardware and Liquids
  • Masala
    • Description: A delicate blend of Indian black tea, milk and exotic spices (clove, black pepper, cardamom, etc.) Masala is a traditional chai masala.
      • I think the key word here is "delicate". This one is kinda subtle to me (if you know me, you know I like flavours that punch you in the taste buds). It's mostly cream, with a light spice note, and something a little sharp that gets you in the back of the throat, but not in a bad way. Perhaps the black pepper? I don't get any tea notes from it. I'll finish what I have, but not a reorder for me.
  • Lassi
    • Description: A traditional, Indian-style mango lassi. Mango, yogurt & delicate spice.
      • This one is also subtle. Mango with a hint of cream. I don't get any yogurt-y tanginess from this at all. There is a slight hint of spice. Again, I'll finish what I have, but not a reorder.
You Got E-juice- from You Got E-Juice - Making Vaping Affordable for Everyone.
  • Sugar Cookie
    • Description: Remember going to Grandma's house and getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar, but they were just so good you didn't care how much trouble you got in?
      • This one doesn't read as sugar cookie to me. More like the doughy part of a cinnamon roll or other pastry. It is a nice, strong, bakery flavour, though. Not a reorder.
  • Lemon Cheesecake
    • Description: A zesty lemon experience with a delicious, rich and creamy cheesecake.
      • Where is the lemon? I've really come to love lemon juices, but the lemon is hiding in this one. There is a bit of graham cracker crust in this one, and a creamy, almost tangy note (which I'm guessing is supposed to be the cream cheese part?). Again, decently strong flavour. Potential reorder. I'll give it a bit of steep time to see how it evolves.
  • Peach Yogurt
    • Description: A ripe juicy Georgia Peach balanced with a tantalizing accent of Yogurt.
      • This one tastes exactly like the peach fruit on the bottom type yogurts. This one is a little harsh on the throat, but not so much so that it has me coughing or anything of the sort. Not a reorder for me, mostly because I'm not a fan of typical, non-greek, type yogurt flavours.
I will say that I like the packaging for the Attara series. They're black glass dripper bottles with fabric labels that are really similar to the ones that Stash uses. I think that gives it the extra somethin' somethin'. In terms of You Got E-Juice, I'd say that they are a solid vendor if you're looking for a decent (if not blow your skirt up awesome) budget vendor. All other budget juice has been an "Aw hell naw!" for me. I'd consider buying again from them if my budget suddenly becomes really tight. I got 180mls from them for about $32.

Nice reviews! Thank you very much! I'm so glad to hear about the Attara because I was reading it the other day and was curious about how their Mango Lassi would compare to Ahlusion's.

I decided to try GLV Blueberry Morning as well as My Blue Boy (sample that GLV included) another blueberry juice. Both have been steeping for a good week. I decided to try them early because blueberries tend to fade in flavor. Both of them tasted the same with the same unidentifiable flavor that appeared to be a fruit however I just could not identify it nor did it hint of blueberries. I will continue the steeping in the hope that it will get better.

I would love to hear what you think of The Keys whenever you try it. I love key lime!

Based on my experience thus far with the blueberries, I am not quite sure how long to steep The Keys. I think fruits do not require a real long steep unlike some other flavors. I will let you know once I have tried it.

Well we had a real scarce today that made me a basket case. My b-i-l took Speck for his second walk of the day this afternoon. Out of the clear this big dog runs out his house (front door was not fully closed) and started attacking Speck. My b-i-l in trying to get the dog to let go of Speck received a number of good surface type scratches up and down his arm. The dog even knocked him to the ground and he is 6' 2”. They were just two blocks from home and my sister went to get them. Once home we started washing the blood off Speck (some was from my b-i-l) When he tried to walk, he was limping on his front right leg. They are at the vets now and have been gone for several hours so should be home soon. My sister called and said Speck would need stitches plus they would be doing full x-rays. I was so upset and nervous that I really felt like a cig. I overcame — I already had NET.com Peaches and Cream loaded so then loaded Mr Vape RY4 and RBFS KillR Y4 so it is tobacco night for me.

Oh my goodness - so sorry to hear about all this. Glad you didn't give in and smoke. I hope Speck will be ok. What a scare you had.

I'm so sorry to hear about Speck being attacked today!! That's terrible! It's awful when our fur babies are hurt! Thank goodness your BIL was able to get the big dog to turn Speck loose. I hope they're home soon and that Speck will be much better soon. Please let us know how Speck is doing!

Keep up the good work with your vaping!! When things get really stressful, I tend to want an analog too. One thing that has helped me, is to vape a juice with a really good throat hit, like Ahlusion's Alpha Centauri, or a spicey or menthol juice. I'm sure your tobacco juices have a good throat hit too, so stick with them.

I was curious about steeping times for GLV juice so I sent an email to them a few weeks ago. I had ordered Deadly Sin, Tahitian Pearl, Nana's Nuts and Spook Sauce. The web site's description of Deadly Sin and Spook Sauce included suggested steeping times, but not for Tahitian and Nana's. GLV customer service replied promptly and said Tahitian and Nana's were pre-steeped and the only ones that needed to steep were the Deadly and Spook, That makes me think that, unless the GLV site provides steeping guidelines in the description, you can assume the juice is ready to go when it arrives. That's not to say even the pre-steeped juices won't continue to improve with steeping. I checked the GLV site and on the Keys description, it says to steep it for one week, so you've got several more days before it will be ready.

@empteeteacup - Thanks for your great reviews. Lemon vapes are one of my favorites too so it makes me sad when the lemon is not there.

Have you seen the Ahlusion juice called Zing? It's supposed to be a tart lemon juice. I want to buy some to add tartness to my lemon vapes. I haven't heard anyone talk about it, but I've liked everything I've ordered from Ahlusion, so I plan to buy some.

Thanks @Nanny22 and @Justwonderi. It would have been very easy for me to ask the next door neighbor for a cig but I didn’t. I can’t remember the last time I felt like one. I forgot I also have AiV 15FF loaded although the tobacco is minimal. Thank goodness for multiple tanks and PVs for times like this.

They left at 4:45 this afternoon for the vet so 30 minutes there which means the same back to home. They had to go to a vet that had emergency hours. My sister and b-i-l went out for dinner as they were told it would be a couple of hours. I just received a text from my sister saying they were going in so assume into the room where Speck is. If so hopefully within the hour they should be home. It is already going on 8:45 pm here.

I bet they'll call you as soon as they know something. Surely you won't have to wait til they get home to find out how Speck is. I'm trying to remember what type of dog is Speck?

@JustWondering1 — I have had my GLV eliquids for nine days now. The key lime from Stash I waited around a week and a half and SDV I vaped after a week so will probably try GLV this week sometime. I can smell it as well as Deadlly Sin however smell sometimes does not translate to taste. I am not giving up on the blueberries yet. I also have Mr. Churro that I need to try.

Yes, I have seen AHL’s Zing and will probably get a small bottle. After trying several times yesterday and this morning, I gave up trying to get onto their website.

Oh yes! I think your GLV's are probably ready to go. The Deadly Sin smelled awesome fresh from the mail and it tasted great the first time I vaped it. With the GLV's I've tried, the smell was a good indicator of how the juice tasted. The Tahitian Pearl was the one that I felt like needed the longest steep. It tasted great from first vape, but I felt like it needed a bit more time for it to be fabulous. I haven't vaped my GLVs for a week or so because I was trying to concentrate on AHL juices so I could do feedback on them. They were so good though, they've been calling my name big time. If you like the lime vapes, you should check out the Tahitian Pearl, it is pear, lime and coconut and is very tasty.

Speck is a Lhasa Apsos and Poodle mix that we adopted when he was a couple of years old. They finally got home at 10 pm. He has three tubes around his neck area and three on his chest to drain the infection. He does not look pretty as they did have to shave his fur. The bites were deep and the Vet said he was in shock. The other dog is a labador retriever that is kept in the house so no social skills whatsoever. Speck was the first emergency which was good because my sister said they got really busy later as a number of animals came in. He goes back to the Vet on Thursday. His leg is fine and all x-rays checked out perfectly. He is sound asleep now. Vet said my b-i-l should also go see his doctor and that he will be losing his thumb nail.

I have some and wish I would not have gotten it sweetened. It is alright but sort of taste more like the rind than the lemon.

Am tanking now Cascade by Adirondack Vapor. Tastes pretty much like their flavor profile description. Apple, banana, strawberry and some mild sweetener. Doesn't really give me much attention in term of wanting to vape it, but it's a nice change. It's also more PG based than VG liquids so there's some more cloud in terms of exhale. Also got gifted by my family their flavor Placid. Placid I haven't tried yet in a tank but the bouquet there seems to be also good with flavors surfacing in a certain taste order with each puff.

Plus the lung hit on these is pretty intense for some reason.
