Guys, i'm so fed up with my provari's right now.
non of the provari's i have will fire the uwell. not even the p3...
also that dang p3 threading ruins all my tanks. that connector gets stuck on the tank every frickin time.

this is now the second time today that the p3 threading has stuck to my tank.
i have to wait for my husband,,,, again to see if he can get it off.

my itazte 3.0 won't fire it either.

so i have this new tank and nothing will fire it. ...!

So can some one reccomend a mod on the cheaper end that will work with the uwell crown or other lower ohm tanks.>>??? I'm about ten nano seconds from taking all these tube mods and throwing them to the thrift store pile of junk i have.

i think the stock coil must be .25 ohms. i thought the p3 could fire that as well as the mvp 30

From the Provape website the Provari 3 Sub-ohm capability - down to .5 ohms.

I don't have any exciting new juices, I'm boring with that these days! I vape Cultured The 1%, Stash stuff, and I got the MBYC Fried which I'm liking.

I don't have any exciting reason I'm not here anymore lol. I guess you guys were helping destroy my wallet...Life is good!

ok, i looked in the box, duh there is the .5 coil. but provari p3 only goes to 20 watts and that was like no vapor at all.

i think this tank is a no go for me.
I have it on the mvp 30

this first tank of juice i used soul custardy, and it was horrid tasting.

washed the tank real good, changed coils
and now i'm trying charlie nobles fruit on the bottom.

there is this taste in the back ground of both that i can NOT stomach.

i'm gonna try to vape thru this tank. i guess sometimes it takes half a tank to break it in?

Anyway, thanks for yalls feed back.

I might be happier with builds between 1.2 and .8
so we'll see.

any way, thanks for yalls input and helping me figure this out.
i just want some good flavor.

Hey Kenna... I've been vaping a few years now. and i'm having major issues. I still smoke... I've been experimenting with lower ohms. I want to give sub ohm a honest go, as it might fix the itch so to speak?

I did good for a few weeks on carto tanks... even when about 3 weeks with out smoking analogs. but when i found my groove, the one carto's i liked became unavailable. The juices i used in those tanks do not taste good in other tanks.

Recently I pulled out my reos and and did a 1 ohm build on a rm 2 dripper and could not believe the difference in flavor and feel...

so then i thought... i wonder what subing will do for me.
maybe nothing.

i thought with this uwell crown, i would find out.

but doesn't look like it's going to happen.

unless i get a new mod :(
Why not stick with reo's & that 1ohm build if that was where the flavor was for the juice that you like? Raise your nic to get off the analogs? Use a wta juice? I'm not a good person to talk about quitting. Quitting by vaping worked so easily for me that I don't relate to dual using since I never had that issue. I was a devoted menthol smoker at a pad for over 44 years. Loved everything about it. And wasn't having many issues but wanted to quit before I had any. Never thought vaping would work any better than patches or gum had. I quit smoking with the first decent setup I got. And was completely shocked when that happened. It was an ego with ce4 tanks, & 24mg peppermint ice juice. I now use Hexohms instead of egos but stuck with KF's & about 2.3 builds. I diy my juice, but do play with premixed when the holiday sales come around to get ideas for new juices to make. Flavors don't come easily for me at all & that's where it's been hard for me. I started with that peppermint ice & next was Castle Long Reserve. That's what really showed me what flavors were about, & flavors are what keep me from smoking. Have you found anything that works to makr you forget about smoking?

ok question... if it's a TC mod, you don't have to use TC mode?

Hi @Ladiekali, if a mod has the TC option, you don't have to run in TC mode. You can choose Power mode which is standard variable wattage and vape away. The Uwell Crown is a sub ohm tank and will require higher wattage with the 0.5 ohm coil to produce a satisfying vape. I don't have one, but I have read good things about the tank. You could consider the 1.2 ohm coil. ( See specs below.)

The single 0.5 ohm coil has a wattage range of 30 - 80W
The single 1.2 ohm coil has a wattage range of 10 - 30W

As @Nanny22 suggested, the Eleaf PICO is priced very fair and fires to 75W. The PICO is a compact mode that will accept up to 22mm tanks. The Uwell crown is a 22mm tank.

Eleaf iStick Pico TC Kit

One other option would be the Vaparesso TAROT. This is an affordable mod that will fire to 200W and also offers TC option. I just picked this mod up a few weeks ago and I am very happy with it so far. BTW, I rarely vape over 50W.

Tarot 200VTC Mod $39.99 By Vaporesso - MOD / PV'S

Good luck and hang in there! I'm sure all will work out for you.:)

I would just buy a new mod anyway. I have a couple of Provari's but use them for tootling. I do not have a Pico but that is a good choice. So is a VTC mini
$34.29 Authentic Joyetech eVic VTC Mini 60W TC VW Variable Wattage APV Box Mod - 1-60W / 200-600'F(100-315'C) / 1*18650 / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
OR
AVAIL | Vape Forward Vaporflask Lite

then you will have a mod for Sub ohming and an REO and can rotate them.

Also maybe the tank needed washed out first? I have had some horrible tastes and smells when I forgot to wash out new tanks and remove the machine oil

Here's my :2c: (Hope it's understandable. I'm at a cookout and have had a few :thumb:). If you're going to invest in a new and more powerful mod, I'd go for something like a new Reuleaux (the one with the bigger screen, not sure what the exact model name is). It's cheap, and the only drawback being that you have to get 3 new batteries to marry together. I'd recommend the LG HD2's. Altogether, you'll spend about $50 if you can find a good deal, provided that you already have an 18650 charger.

Refuge Vapors Coffee Café — This is suppose to be an Italian roast although I don’t know what an Italian roast taste like. There is no bitterness to this eliquid as coffee tends to be. This is a smooth coffee vape with a nice sweetness to it. I drink strong black coffee so for my taste I could use a stronger coffee flavor. I will continue steeping this to see if the coffee flavor gets stronger.

This sounds like a flavor I am going to have to try out

I've been having thoughts of getting a couple of tea flavors. Specifically a cool sweet tea with lemonade, & one with strawberries. Any recomendations? Idk if I can even vape them, but I love to drink them. I've just never tried to vape teas.

I've tried a couple of them @Kenna the last one is called "Sweet Tea" by Vapor HQ and you can still get it in 50/50 VG/PG blend, but I found it to be higher in Lemon flavor than sweet. But not bad if that is what you're looking for. I still vape it but would prefer a slightly sweeter mix. There is one other that I can't recall the name of off hand, but as I do recall it's high VG but was much sweeter than the first I mentioned. I'll have to look and see if I saved it somewhere for ya
I forgot about EC Blends you can make up Sweet Tea to your Liking as well. Aah I totally forgot about them and that Tea was to my liking, because I designed it.

is that the eleaf pico?

does any one have feed back on the innokin disrupter? i can't get one at a really good price.

Everyone loves the Pico, so I'd go with that. I've got one coming to me from China on a very slow boat, so I haven't tried one yet. I don't know much about the Innokin Disrupter, but it looks to me like it would be extremely uncomfortable to hold unless your hands are huge!

I love Ahlusion's Lemon Ginger Iced Tea. It's not so much lemonade as it is ginger tea with a good bit of lemon flavor. It's fantastic.

King's Crown's Fight Your Fate is very good. I wish it were a little more flavorful, but I have only vaped it in a Nautilus Mini. I bet if I tried it again using better toppers, it would be much better.

Wow, Nanny, that's a great price, especially considering it includes shipping. I paid about $25 at Fast Tech and, I wish I had bought it from a U.S. vendor, because I could already be using it instead of waiting for it to make its way to me.

I know, great price. The Pico has been the same price at Rocky Mountain since it was released, so when you finally get yours, if you love it, order another one there. They're a great vendor and ship really quickly. Anything over $14 ships for free, which you just can't beat. And the 25% off coupon has been going since President's Day back in February.
Sweet-Vapes is another we've had good luck with. Eleaf iStick Pico 75W TC Base Kit - Pico, 100W, 200W - Eleaf iStick - Mods
