So I thought my 5 volt mod was broke cus I was trying to use LR carto's

Then the guy at the vape store gave me a HR carto to try and now it works
I guess that's why it didn't work properly on my 5 volt USB pass through either

The thing is maybe its me but the HR carto has a weird taste to it... So Im
asking the vets here what the best ones are, best taste/hit all that

Thanks for the help

Cartomizers with a resistance of ~3 to ~4 ohms (i.e., the low end of high-resistance and sometimes called "standard" or "regular" resistance) probably would do you well on 5V. [The lower the resistance in that range, the more intense the hit.] Boge and Smok Tech are two of the best brands. I see that:

  • Vapor Alley (aka AtmosUSA) carries "2.7 to 3.1 ohm" Boge (probably the same as the Liberty-Flights "2.7-3.0 Ohm" Boge).

  • Goodejuice carries 3.3 ohm Boge (which I suspect may be the same as MadVapes' "3.2 Boge").
There are other fine suppliers who also may carry the above or similar, however many of them don't specify the resistance.

In addition, many vapers like the Smok Tech Dual Coils (which are not really "1.5" ohms) on 5V. You can get those from almost anywhere.
