The MaxxFusion from Bloog is currently the best KR808D-1 e-cigarette out there (my opinion), for a "normal" sized battery. Also, their MaxxFusion carts are newly developed, last a long time, and are very burn-resistant. The new PCC design is very cool. Prices are a little higher, but that is because of the higher quality of the hardware and the support that you get from Bloog. This is my main vape, after 3 years of vaping, and trying virtually every piece of hardware out there...

I just saw that you were looking for the best KR808D-1 in terms of price.

I thought you were looking for the best KR808D-1 out there.

Check vaporsetc (coupon code vapezone I believe). Check for current vapor4life sales -- they've had a series of over 20% off sales running, right now I know there's JUICE35 for 35% off on all juices, not sure if there's another active code for hardware. NHaler's 10% is saveinnj -- not the lowest price, but excellent service (which counts for a lot to me).

I learned the hard way that not all KR808D1's are of the same quality. My first PV was a KR808D1 from a site selling the generic KR808D1 (as opposed to the Vapor King that Vapor4Life sells). It was cheaper than the Vapor King and someone here said it was the same thing. Well, it wasn't.

My batts had an 'airy' draw and low vapor production, which I just sort of chalked up to the type of PV. My friend has ordered a kit from V4L and was perfectly happy with it. We were sitting around comparing notes one day and I tried his- what a difference! Much better draw and none of that feeling like you're getting more air than vape. I then ordered a couple of manual batts from V4L and was very satisfied with them...well, until I discovered the eGo and Little Sister. But that's a different story altogether.

Obviously, I can only compare the one 'generic' that I purchased with the V4L batts and there may be others that are of the same quality as the Vapor King. If I had it to do over, though, I think I would steer clear of the generic versions.

The generic Kanger manual batteries are as good as any other 808 battery, but if you're one of those people who will only use automatic batteries then the V4L ones have the easiest draw, it's hit or miss depending on the batch if you get a good auto Kanger battery.

However... the new Bloog Maxxfusion is getting some attention right now, i just haven't gotten one yet to try it.

KR808 tech has recently been completely re-engineered for better performance, durability and duration. I started with 808s from MVS but now, I use the MaxX Fusion distributed by BloogPlanet - they last longer and are much more responsive than the (recently) dated 808 tech. BloogPlanet is also distribution new 808 cartos that are outstanding, hotter vapor, longer life. Overall, the quality of the Bloog distribution is outstanding! I'm currently in the process of retiring my older, trusty 808s with the new MaxX Fusion 808s -

In agreement on the Bloog MaxxFusion. Been vaping mine all week. There is no question that it is superior. The shorty batteries (65mm) are 220mah, versus all other shorty 808 batteries at 180mah. The switch is fast! So no more sizzling after a drag. The cartos deliver a nice hot, cigarette-like vapor, and a very pronounced but smooth throat hit. I will say this though, and it may have to do with my increased sensitivity to PG: the pre-filled flavors are not my cup of tea. They irritate my throat. That may also be because I have been using organic, hand-brewed, top-quality USA-made juices for the last six months. If I were starting out, which I am not (vaping 3 years now) I would get the blanks and use juices from vendors like Backwoods Brew and the like. Much better experience! Just weighing in...

Another option might be the PigCig from LeCig. I know you said you wanted a regular size, but the extra battery life and larger cartomizers might be worth the slight increase in size. The batteries are 650mAh compared to 380 for a KR8 XL or 280 for a regular-sized KR8, and the mega cartomizers seem to hold about twice as much liquid. I just got one for my wife and she loves it. Here are a couple of photos with size comparisons (sorry about the crappy pictures, but the lighting and photographer weren't very good).

First, here is the PigCig compared to a KR8 with an XL battery - as you can see, the PigCig is fatter but a little shorter:

And here I removed the cone from the PigCig to compare cartomizer size:

You can use regular KR8 cartomizers instead of the megas, but without the cone, as they don't stick out very far. I believe a discount code of INTERNET will get you 10% off. Ikenvape also carries mega KR8 cartos.

Wow - I'm doing exactly the same thing! I just ordered 2 juices from bwb today and got a terrific volume discount for 25 MaxX Fusion blanks from bloogplanet. btw, faux - was thinking about getting a short batt - how much use do you get out of the shorty between recharges?

i'm a pig cig user, it truly is pretty small. i'd say in terms of length its shorter than a 100 cigarette, its the same length as my shorty smoketip batteries.

i haven't tried it with mega cartos yet because i'm simply unsure how to fill the megas lol.

since the op is going for price, litecigusa is probably the best. $30 for a 2 battery kit, $8 for premium cartos and you're good to go.

I just used the carto condom method to fill some for the Mrs. - dunked them a couple times, gave 'em a good shake, and repeated until full.

The MaxxFusion is expensive, though. Especially for a first PV. I'm trying to get my fiance's mom to switch from analogs to vaping, and I don't think a Maxxfusion would be convincing pricewise. Back to the main point of the thread, where are the best prices for KR808s?

LiteCigUSA.net - get a PCC too before they sell out.
