I recently got two SmokTech 510 LR Atties to try (1.7ohm)...but I'm not too impressed with them.
....

UpDate: My SmokTech LR Atty (see above)
~vs~ an IKV LR Stealth Atty

SmokTech 510 LR/1.7ohm Atty

Well, it's been everyday for 2 weeks now continually
using my SmokTech LR/1.7Ω 510 Atty and nothing but.

Please allow me to amend what I said above about it:

1) After 2-3 days of continual use, it seems my SmokTech LR Atty finally broke in...or perhaps, it broke me in...lol.

2) After the initial break-in, this atty has been working better. After I got used to it (post break-in period), it's been easier to tell when it needs more drops. The vapor just gets a little dry, then it needs another 2-3 drops. However, even when it starts to feel dry, it still gurgles a bit. When it's wetted again, it gurgles even more...so it kinda feels like I'm inhaling over a "bubbling brew".

3) It's only needed one cleaning so far, which I did by blowing it out from the top with a napkin underneath it. Then it took ~5 drops again to re-prime it, and another 2-3 drops more to start it vaping for me.

4) The flavor has been good, and I've preferred dripping over using a cart. It vapes pretty well, but I've tried no other atty "as of yet" to compare it to, till yesterday.

5) The SmokTech LR Atty certainly hasn't knocked my socks off. I still get more out of a well-tweaked CE2 than this atty, but at the same time it's not horrible either. So earlier in the week, due to several ECF threads I stumbled across recently, I ordered the IkenVape 901 LR/1.8Ω Stealth Atty to try.

And, my IKV 901 LR/1.8Ω Stealth Atty just arrived in
the mail yesterday [*yeay*] so I got to try it to compare...

IkenVape's IKV 901 LR/1.8Ω Stealth Atty

WOW!! What a smooooooooth vape right out of the package!

No gurgling, doesn't feel like I'm sucking over a bubbling brew.
Just smo-oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth!!

More puffy vapor, much cleaner flavor, and a perfect draw (not too airy like a 510 atty). And, it's surprisingly eeeeeasy to use from the get-go. It draws much like a CE2 but without the occasional crackle. Actually, it draws more like a cartomizer...I just can't believe it's an atty! Well, I'm spoiled now, and definitely getting a ton more of these! I love it! :thumb:

I've also been getting about twice as many hits between drips from this little beast than I have been w/ my SmokTech 510 LR Atty. Very efficient indeed, and very satisfying throat hit (just slightly cooler). Compared to my SmokTech atty, it feels like I just jumped from a rickety Volkswagen and landed in a leather-upholstered 4.5Liter BMW. It's really nice!!

Oh, and it looks really schiek too. It has a beautiful glossy black finish with IKV 1.8Ω nicely printed up the side in what looks like a softly muted gold colored paint/print. It comes with a sleek flat whistle-tip on it that's perfect between my lips. This atty is a real class act!

I'm really impressed, not just at the craftsmanship (looking inside & out) but especially of its performance as well. This is by all means a HIGH quality item, and it was just $7.99 and well worth it -> IKV 901 Stealth at IkenVape.com And with the reputation of IkenVape's atties lasting months, I'm even more excited about it. Stellar...just stellar!

I realize this is a thread about 510 Atties, but, the 901 was all I got. So I'm gonna order some of Iken's 510 LR Canon Stealth Atties to try.:2cool: I just can't believe what a difference this has been!

Woohoo! Hours later, and no leaks! Not even with 5-6 drops just to see if it would. Whereas my SmokTech 510 LR Atty would leak with just 4 drops if I didn't toot on it right away (which also got juice on my lips). In fact, I got a Drip Shield just in case this 901 atty might leak, but it looks like my 510 atty needs it instead.

I also put the IKV 901 LR/1.8Ω Stealth Atty on my eGo-T battery to try (with a 510-901 adapter). Nice! Even though my eGo-T battery only puts out 3.23v-3.28v (regulated) on my volt meter, this IKV 901 1.8Ω Atty just keeps performing even at low voltage. The vapor is only a little less than at 3.7v, however, drawing on it from the eGo for only 1 sec more produces just as massive a vapor cloud, and the flavor is still just as nice. And it also does better on the eGo than the SmokTech atty does. The SmokTech also gets hot after just a few consecutive puffs, even on the eGo. Whereas I have yet to get past "warm" on this IKV Atty even at 3.7v.

And this morning, I'm still amazed at how many more toots this little beast puts out between drips than my SmokTech 510 atty does.

Finally, it was only after the first toot yesterday that I realized right away why this little beast of an atty is called "Stealth"....it's just quiet & very very smooth. Yet it puts out like a fine-tuned 4.5Liter BMW.
