I agree with what others have said: if you ask everyone will give you a different opinion on what is the "best" mod. For me, the best mod ever made in the whole of the universe is the atmomixani nemesis. But of course, people may not agree with me. Nothing wrong with the flip. From everything I've heard it is an awesome mechanical. Get the one that YOU love the most, because you're not buying a mod to impress anyone else, but just impress yourself.

I think the best mod is the one with the lowest voltage drop. I feel like I'm just gonna go with RIP trippers on this one. He seems to know a lot more than other people with just opinions. He's tried it all. Plus he owns a Pegasus and says the v3 hits harder.

A good starter mech is the HCigar Sentinel M16. It is my first mech and I have taken the dive into the deep waters of mech mods and don't plan to look back. Who wants to be held within a safety net of regulated devices?
I got a Hammer clone when they first came out. Was so impressed I bought 2 authentic models. With a little modifications to them they are great devices and very solid. I'm not a big fan of bottom firing devices(which pretty much dominate the market) so the Hammer works great for me.

Also the brass nemesis has .1 voltage loss under .5 ohm load. How can you beat that?
Plus you can buy it today cuz its in stock, which kinda baffles me. Many mods have waitlists from here to eternity.

Nemesis is best imo, its sleek, classy, and modular. Stingray (the multi-tube edition, not the solid black) is a very very very close second, and has magnetic switches standard.

Right on, congrats!! I've been eyeballing the ... gasp ... Purple grooves one myself. I think it's a handy mod, never have to wonder which stash box the extra changeable tubes are in. It's not as handy as the Roller, dang the Roller is sweeeeeeet, but they're both fun to have and use. (Well, I assume the flip is fun).
It's a beautiful engraving, but it's lacking the true SteamPunk build that the SteamPunks are popular for. Those are crazy cool. (No offense to Otto).
