I got my halo juice today. It's okay. Should I be trying it in a new blank cart? I used an older menthol cart and it's just meh.
halo also needs time to breathe too. shake the bottle and let it sit for about 24 hours. thats what all mine have had to be done
I have tried nearly 20 menthols to date and DatsVapor's menthol wins the bitiest, iciest, most mentholiest non-tobacco menthol I've ever had award.
Cleared my sinuses out completely when I first tried it and I pushed it to the very back of my stash (not my kind of menthol AT ALL)
Thinking about pulling it out and using it now that I've got a summer cold to see if it helps -- nothing else has.
It's pretty reasonably priced as I recall...

I bought a bottle of Halo Truepure a while ago and I seriously regretted it from the first draw (hope that's not the one you bought). The vanilla aftertaste was horrible and the menthol was very weak in my opinion, not to mention the price was ridiculous. I have stayed away from Halo ever since. For a serious menthol smoker like I was (full flavor not lights or milds) Truepure is just too smooth, weak, and mild. I don't know how the other liquids from them compare to Truepure but I've been too wary of them to spend another $25 to find out. If you want a real TH and a nice cool bite you really need to try some LiquidXpress Cool Rush.
Sorry if I've offended any of you Halo lovers out there... I've only tried one product so if they do have any liquids that have no flavoring added to the menthol and are a stronger menthol than Truepure I would like to know about them.

i take the cap off, let some air get into the bottle, put the cap on and shake the piss out of it. then leave it be. works for me atleast.

hey guys, thanks again for the help. I am trying some of the halo juice in some blank carts when they come in, hopefully tomorrow.
also what are your guys thoughts about mixing it with some other juice? i have some nhaler juice that i got and was trying to go through, but that too was just meh. the menthol was bland and most of them had a tobacco blend to it and that is just not my thing.

Which Nhaler menthols have you tried? After buying dozens of different menthols, I keep going back to Nhaler's Menthale (no longer available) and HV Super Menthol. The EcoPure Menthol, which alone is very bland VG, but added PGA dissolved crystals gives it a clean, no 'baccy flavor.
I also like a real kick and no tobacco in my go-to vape. If you find a base liquid that is not offensive, for me that means no China-chem taste, then you can boost the flavor to your liking by adding crystals, peppermint, sweetner, PGA, etc.

V4L: Smilin, premium menthol, menthol, mint, peppermint, nuport, spearmint, cool, wintergreen and menthol VG
Halo: Menthol Ice, Truepure
Nhaler: Super menthol, 555 menthol, Nuport
That is all of the menthol type flavors that i have tried. the V4L peppermint is def one of my favorites. All others were either too weak, too much like a tobacco blend or way to Vicks vapor like.
I did order liquidXpress.com menthol from an above poster to try that one out. we will see about that one.
i like to keep things simple too
i would like to get some menthol drops and use them in some liquids. any good sites for the drops? not the crystals and pga (too scary)
The same drops that Ecopure uses is sold from that site called Juicey something or other, if you ask Ecopure they will tell you, they told me last week and I wrote it down at my other house
I'm sorry to hear that cerver7. As you know, as well as other vapers, taste is always subjective. I mean I had a few e-liquid I bought too that people said were the best and it wasn't. I realized nothing will be like a menthol cigarette so that is why Menthol Ice did it for me. I have yet to try LiquidXpress Cool Rush but I do have a carton of their cartomizers and it doesn't taste all that. Good luck in your searching and keep us posted on what you try! Let me know how cool rush is for you too!

i did find that the V4L peppermint gives me the satisfying minty TH as well as good taste and large vapor. So far that is the closest one for me. i hope the cool rush is good too. if not, then i guess i might try TV's
