Best mod available?

My reasoning is that mechanical mods are regarded more highly than regulated mods, and the one of the most highly regarded mech mods is the Nemesis by Atmomixani. And it does indeed rock.

I've heard a lot of people complain about the evic.... Some say its comparable to a tin can. And I've heard they break and tear up too easily, I can't speak from personal experience but I've read it alot. I like the vtr, but the thing is so heavy.... I have 2 mvp v2 and 95% of the time I carry them. My next purchase will be a provari... Not a mini tho.... Have you compared the two in person? I originally thought I wanted a mini instead of the standard size but after seeing just how small they actually are I'm going with the full size, plus I want to be able to use 18650 batteries for when I'm out for the entire day. Is rather carry an extra 18650 battery or 2 than 5 or 6 18350's. But I'm holding out, I'm hoping they'll release a provari v3 soon. And I'm praying it has vw, I heard from a good source that it wouldn't be much longer!! Fingers crossed!

The more I read the more I agree with you. Thinking I'm gonna get a VTR for now and when a V3 provari comes out get that or a V2 since they'll be looking to clear out inventory. I'll already have the batteries and charger.

Hands down, the best mod ever made is the one you like the best.
For me, the brass ChiYou is the most versitile, the brass Caravela is my favorite, and the Zen DX is the worse.
My Nemesis is far better than the Zen, but doesn't compare to the Caravela or the ChiYou.

evic is one of the few that have onboard charging.
i think the emode supercedes the evic; but don't remember if it has onboard charging.
vtr interestingly with tank on the side means its not going to have liquid leaking down on top of the battery; but it's 510-only on the sidemount otherwise you add the entension tube.
provari is 510-only and no vw.
oh, and the vamo- cheap; whatever else you get, might as well pick up a vamo for backup.

i got my wife her provari in case she runs it over with the car. i have a strong feeling making it through such a situation is more than reasonable to ask from her prothingy.
you'll need button tops. the positive connection on the provari is recessed so you can't put the batteries in backwards. this also rules out flat top batteries.
also, make sure you have the right size batteries. i know you said you want long battery life between charges, so i'd suggest a full size provari with extension cap to run 18650 batteries. the provari mini runs 18350 batts and they don't offer a lot of capacity. can be extended to 18490 size with provape extender, or with a bit more investment into tatroe extenders, 18650 also. by that time, the full size prothingy would have been the wiser investment.
just want to make sure you're informed.
if you don't have button top batteries and don't wish to purchase them, madvapes.com has a little button top adapter for batteries. it works great.
Apparently they have such a high freq from the power supply, that they for our purposes might as well be DC. They are purportedly indestructable, and have a very impressive warrannty.
My big issue, and what will keep me away from them for the time being, is the interface for making adjustments apparently sucks pretty bad. I'm guessing it comes down to being pretty similar to the mac/pc war that dates back to the abbacus.
Some people are content with one button and find a certain elegance from it (and that the one button works every time you push it), even if you apparently need to learn morse code to make it do things.
Some people prefer the convenience of more buttons, being able to do more stuff and accept that there will be more maintenance (as a trade off for versatility), and love that it is very plug and play.
I'm waiting for the dna mods to get the kinks worked out, until then I'm not going to invest too much in the quest for the perfect vape. If I were content with one button, I'd probably go reo tho. If you are going to go for elegance via minimalism, why half step?

I'll pull the trigger on buying a Reo because I have experience with another box mod and the Reo offers a unique vape solution but I won't buy a Provari or anything else with a pricetag like that without holding it first. Have yet to see one in a B&M and have not run across a vaper in the wild carrying one.

Glad you made that point I've never seen one in person... I'm just shocked that no one else makes a vape that runs at a frequency that high. It seems as though the frequency and build quality are the only real answers to my original question.

i tested them too, i bought one three days after i had it i emailed about returns and they promplty got back to me with instructions of what to do. i was thoroughly impressed.
any way, that's the only reason i took the risk. i could return it if needed.
most stores don't resell them because they'd have to jack the price up ridiculously to make a profit.
i didn't like the one button at first, being used to the mvp2 and vv3, now i appreciate it.
i thought it was ugly until i held it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the mod isn't worth the money or anything like that. There are enough folks that swear by them that I can't imagine the quality would be less than expected.
They just don't fill any gaps in my vaping needs at the moment, would be a "nice to have" purchase rather than a "have to have" one.

I really wish there was a place I could go to take a bunch on a test drive. Everyplace round here does mech mods, innokin or joyetech. I've had a few joyetech productsand not happy with build quality. No one carries the "higher echelon" stuff in stock. Always had issues about spending money on something without being able to see touch or feel first.

I'm currently using a provari mini with aerotank as my ADV and I'll tell you I haven't had one single problem. Great flavor, great vapor, and the consistency is unreal

you can't go wrong, man. if you decide you don't like it, get started on getting verified here before you purchase it just in case. that way if you go over the return period and decide you don't like it, you can off it in the marketplace. it will sell fast and you'll only be out of pocket for a small renters fee. they sell used for nearly full retail. even older versions with limitations sell for good money used. there's literally no risk with the prothingy.
i'll add another $500 to that pot.
I hate being able to only get one. If I had the money I would buy both the VTR and provari. I'm unable to drive for a few more days thanks to a surgery so I called my local vape store. (Vapors INN) and even they just confused me more on which one of the two would be better for me. I can get one now and one in May. All I can figure is get the VTR now and wait to see if provari puts out a V3 anytime soon.
Is that dumb or bad idea?

VTR as my main, MVP2 as my backup. As far as performance, I could go either way. VTR is better for my active life as an HVAC worker.
