Morning, Guys!

I need some advice from y'all. Step by step I'm piecing together a new set up, and I'm trying to take my time and do my research this go around. I've had about five different set ups this past year because I get a wild hair and decide it's time for something new. Then I run out and buy after spending about five minutes online and twenty talking to a person in a store.
Per the advice of a local vape shop employee I bought a uwell Crown tank over the weekend, and I'm building from there. I need some suggestions on what mod would work best with my pretty new tank. Whenever I ask people at the store, although they are knowledgeable, I feel rushed and like I'm being sold on something (because I am, duh). She suggested the KOOPOR Plus, which seems neat I guess, but I'm fairly new to all this and only have a basic understanding of what I need out of a mod. From what I understand though that's more wattage than what I need. I'll most likely be running at 85-90w with my Crown.

Flavor is more important than cloud output for me. In fact since I vape inside a lot I prefer something that doesn't put out overpowering fogginess. Any advice y'all have is greatly appreciated, since I kinda feel like I'm fumbling in the dark here.

Thanks!

I think that's the way I'm gonna go. I've had a very slow morning at work and had the past couple of hours to do research. The facts you can still charge via a USB cable and you can download updates won me over. And you can't beat 39.95$.

Hello @AbbyDLyn and welcome to the forum.

I have an RX200 and love it. However, it is highly recommended on the forum to not use the usb to recharge replaceable battery mods. Most people use a separate battery charger like the Nitecore or Xtar 4 bay chargers.
I use 2 sets of 3 18650's and rotate, one set in the mod, one charged or charging. Using the LG HG2's (3000 mah) you'll have 9000 mah of battery life in the RX 200, for most people thats an all day charge.

It's also recommended to get the batteries in sets and keep them in sets in both use and recharge. What this does is to keep the batteries balanced to where one battery doesn't have more work load on it. It's a safety issue. Most batteries fail during charge so thats the reason a separate charger is recommended.

Good luck in your journey.

I brought my crown tank a week ago,I use it with a cool fire IV plus (which is 70w) and a eleaf 100w, the 0.25 work better on the eleaf ...but the 0.5 is better on the cool fire I've tried both coils on both mods for some reason it's the way it works for me aha, haven't tried the NI 200 in not in to TC just yet lol

+1 on the RX200. I have two of them. It's about the best buy out there ATM. I also have a Koopor Plus, another very nice mod. Sigelei's Fuchai 200 is supposed to be a superior piece of gear, but I don't have one. I do have a Snow Wolf 200, and I can recommend that one, too. Any 100+ watt regulated mod will do just fine. If it was me, the RX200, followed by the Koopor Plus.

I use my crown on a IPV D2 (but get the D3 if you are interested). It is sleek and pocketable and has enough horsepower to push the crown a wee bit. If you are ok under 75W-80W, you are golden. I usually run between 40-60 watts though....many like to push the tank higher than that though.

The new one I am looking at getting is actually the IPV5. It will fire TC and kanthal in an 2x 18650 setup and has firmware upgrades coming.

One all around amazing mod that I haven't heard but minimal complaints about is the IPV3 LI. It has been out for a bit and is tried and tested.

The last one that is a longshot is to look at the Hohm Wrecker G2. Supposed to have some new fancy tc functions and efficiency boosts.

Good luck, you can find plenty of reviews and Q&A's on these boards to answer any model specific questions that you have.
