but as for best? there is no best, some really nice ones and a bunch of cheap stuff with the same chips in different bodies. best will be subjective.

Oh, the hole my card is burning in my pocket attempting to make me order the Futura. I'm holding out until they start shipping so I can get a couple reviews, but man, the wait is killing me. I can only imagine the anticipation for those who actually dropped the cash on the pre-order.

Also look at the Semovar. It's the only VV/VW I've seen mentioned as being at the same level as the ProVari.

love my semi.. not even sure why I dropped the coin for the futura, the list of features and design decisions i think did it, we need more mods to come along using high end materials inside like this.

You need at least 10 mods to be satisfied... then you'll need to start trading on the classifieds, get in on a brutally long preorder or co-op. Once you have a GG, a Nemesis, a Caravella, a Poldiac, a 69 mod, and a Silver Dog you've won round one of the game... round 2: you realize your begining to hate half your gear and its back to the classifieds. Then you can figure out wich juice you like. Only then have you truely found what vaping is all about. I'm joking of course but any one of those mods I mentioned are strong contenders for a nice device.

The best mod on the market, if you go by voltage drop, is the brass nemesis. The Chi-You and all the other Nemi mods are just under the brass Nemi.

I own a ProVari... and it is a great mod if you go by looks + performance BUT if you just go performance, the DNA20 is superior. ProVari is only VV... DNA20 is VV/VW and has a larger range... Also I'm not a fan of the ProVaris habit of rejecting any coil under 1 ohm.

I just bought a Vapor Wall Nemesis... but if i could do it again i would wait for a full naval brass one.

OP's original question is impossible to answer, as has been proven here every other day.

There is no 1 "Best Mod".

FWIW, my current favs are:

MMVapors Poldiiac + DID
GP Paps Lux + DID
SS Chi-You + DID

I realize these are high-end mechs and not for everyone....just proves that it's an impossible question.

You may be joking but I can relate!!!
I have loved every minute of chasing the dragon.
Finally I would take a hard look at the Futura I was finally considering buying a provari and decided to go with the Futura for the DNA Chip and the way they are building it. The owner seems very responsive I cant wait to get it.

I just got my REO grand 'n' rm2. I love it. It sings with a 0.8ohm microcoil. All the taste and vapor of dripping w/o having to drip. Less than $200 and will probably outlast me.

Gonna throw in my suggestion to get either a Nemisis or Nemisis clone and maybe a Kick 2 or Kick clone. That will have you with a great solid mech and VW device. Comparatively compact, looks great, works great.
