Bruce has treated me very well too. COV is a reliable vendor.

Speaking of COV and mods under a hundred bucks - He has the 5v WOW that's worth checking out. It's an ego-style (ego connector - ego style button - bigger than ego sized taking 3.0v lifep04 batts - and 5 click shut off like an ego) regulated 5.0v mod for twenty five bucks.

I'd like to chime in and say that the iPro is treating me very well.

You may want to look at the blemished version if price is an issue for you. You can pick up a blemished version with brass top and bottom cap, with the charger and batteries - use the "ecf buzzkill" coupon and it ends up being under 110$ shipped.

From what I hear the blemishes are barely noticable if at all.

Another notcig infinity pro recommendation.

Ipro, 2 sets of batts, charger, will run 120 shipped, using the "ECF Buzzkill" coupon code. (base ipro, the batt/charger option, then add one standalone set of batts)

6-7 ml of vaping between battery changes (at around 5v, 8w), 3.5 - 5.5v, 15w max power, solid voltage regulation, simple to use, excellent customer service.

If you are into tanks (i am), the m1a1 option at $20 before discount is pretty sweet :)

Good luck, a lot of good options out there!

Am I wrong in thinking that by ordering the IPro I would save money on batteries/chargers because to get anywhere from 3.5v to 5.5v out of the Ipro only requires one battery/charger setup, whereas the to get both 3.7v and 6v out of the Silver Bullet I would need to purchase two different types of batteries and chargers?

That I don't know. What I do know is the neat thing on a vv is that you can tune it to whatever voltage you want for a particular eliquid and atty/carto, and change it throughout the day if you want to tweak the flavor/warmth. I'll vary by up to volt during the course of a day based on what I want, over a 50% swing in power between 4v and 5v, without swapping batteries or atties.

I just noticed the "bottom-feeder" feature. I'm not familiar with this feature.

So basically, you put your juice in that bottle which is integrated into the PV, and instead of dripping onto the atomizer or into the cartomizer, you just squeeze the bottle and it feeds juice to the atomizer/cartomizer?

I wish this model had been around a bit longer so I could find out more about its durability/reliability. On sale for $75 with battery/cartos/atomizers included and 25% off on top of that seems like a pretty awesome deal

Best deal going right now...$56 & free shipping.

Hey, thanks for all the help today everyone! Definitely one the most helpful and friendliest forums I have the pleasure of being a a member of :)

I think I have reached a decision!!! (da da da daaaaa)

I think I am going to test the vmod XL. I am going the the Vmod primarily for two reasons:
1) This is will be my "never leaves my side" PV that I take out with me. Of the options I have been considering, this is the only one that seems easily pocketable. The SB seems like it would be like carrying a rock around, and the Ipro is just so long I imagine it would be a bit awkward in my pocket. Plus, I am a bit shy about vaping in public, and the Vmod seems like it is the one that would be most easy to use discreetly.
2) I can get into it for about half of the cost of any of the other options I am considering, and I am a bit strapped for cash right now.
3) Also, although not a major selling point, I am interested in testing the bottom-feeding feature

I definitely see an Ipro in my future for using at home when I get some more cash, but for my current purposes and resources, I think the Vmod is my best option.

Thanks again for all the help everyone. Hope I am making a good decision! :p

Good job, look at what is available, pick the one that best suits you :)

I love this response! :)

I've seen how some people get attached to their PV's and become overly convicted about the superiority of their device. Like I said, I really really would like the Ipro, and likely a SB after that, but for now I think this is best for my current situation.

Cheers! I'll let you guys know how it works out. Now I just need to figure out how long they are expecting to wait for more gunmetal ones, or if I am going to have to just bite the bullet and order the black one!
