I already posted asking about you favorite MTL rta's. Now I am refining my question. I am only interested in rta's that are: 1 EXCELLENT for MTL 2. Have glass tanks 3. Have holes in the posts or postless like the Bachelor. I recently purchased a kayfun lite plus clone and I'm finding rather difficult to secure the ends of the coils with the screws....need those holes I guess.
I have a Bachelor on its way and the original Lemo. Would like to order a couple others as well.....anxiously awaiting your suggestions

It's funny because it seems that that most of the rta's that have post holes are tanks that are geared towards lung hitters. The mtl tanks I have seen all have screws in which you must trap the wire. You might be doing this already, but keeping your drill bit or whatever you are using in till leads are trapped makes it a little easier or you can try coming around the screws counter clockwise so when tightening, the coil doesn't slide. They are calling the posts with holes these days "velocity style" so if your go ogling tanks the way you want, try that term.

anything with adjustable airflow has worked for MTL. Kayfun, Kayfun4, cthulhu. I stop down the air flow and fire longer at lower wattage... boom, MTL

as for the screws, wrap them in the direction the screw tightens and actually wrap 1/2 turn around the screw. if you just stick the ends in there you have to have some thick wire or it will loosen and fall out/move

The bachelor is tighter than most of the other tanks I've used, but even with the air flow dialed down almost all the way it's hard for me to MTL it. I've been enjoying it as a tight lung hitter, and the flavor is great. The only tank I own that I can actually MTL is my KFL+. It takes some getting used to but with practice it's not that hard to build on. Unfortunately it's an older design and has no top fill, separate base etc. which is why I have been searching for a new go to.

Which begs the question, why is everyone so obsessed with huge air flow nowadays? In order to get a good flavor you have to up the wattage and run through a bunch more juice every day. I didn't want to jump on the KF4 because of the price, but maybe I should have.

Same reason everyone everyone wants 200W+ but doesn't care about battery life/puff count/vv. I think they must be blowing clouds to impress other people and not to consume the flavor/nicotine.

You can still buy KF4 clones, but OP wants grub screws and post holes to which I'm tempted to say good luck. My KFL russian/KF4 were very easy to build on.

If money is no object, get a Squape R/Rs. Glass tank, better flavor than almost anything, single coil MTL, access to deck without draining...

The wire leads do have to be trapped under screws (no post holes), but the way the deck is made makes it ridiculously easy. Everything is non-conductive except for the posts, so it's virtually impossible to short the coil.
