Tough question. It depends on your definition of 'best'.
For tube mods, I'd pick the Nemesis.
For boxes, I'm partial to the REOs.

Nemesis is actually available but I want the SS one with the "gold accents" all that's about is all SS and brass

I haven't used a mech tube in a long time but those three are the only ones I'd ever consider buying again.

I liked ss and brass combos too, back when I was using tube mods. I have several. Most are no longer being made.

Each of those are beautiful and I don't dislike all brass or brass and stainless at all. Just on the nemesis I'd like SS and gold trim.
I feel like if vaping comes to an end I want a nice cigar box like a humidor full of beautiful mechs. I've only got 3 authentics atm and I need to add to this collection.
So want the caravela but they don't make it nemore. 1 guy has one on eBay but it's $999

Caravelas have always been fairly pricey on the street, because they were so limited in production, and were snapped up as fast as they were made. But the heyday for collecting mechanical tubes was a couple years ago. Even the price of Caravelas has dropped, compared to what they were. But we're they the 'best'? Hard to say. Again, it depends on your definition of 'best'.

Well i know I'm late to the game but I feel as though I'm safe, comfortable and competent when using mechanicals now. I've been vaping for 1 yr 7 months and my box is taken up with plenty of these huge, crass boxes which I think just look horrible nowadays. Mechs on the other hand. It doesn't matter whether your rocking SX minis or Dna 200s, I don't think they are a patch on some mechs still. Tbh, I've gone to a 100 watts for a go but I'm comfortable with 40 watts on a dripper neway. I've learnt to not absolutely drench the coil and I'm cool. + I'm using mtl tanks more often.

Just wanted a list so that I can look at the most highly thought of ones. I mean Baditude posted this pic of the caravela yest I mean, wow...

Yep I've visited but they are always sold out and I can't say I've been blown away by their stuff. Tanks are great though.
I've got 3 authentic Gus mods, and they're beautiful but I just want a few more. I can't find the classifieds because I'm only a member of this ecig forum but I live in the uk so that won't really work because of the shipping and custom fees

I am in love with my GUS. Great quality mechs they make. I pulled out the Munstro v1.5 the other day and I haven't been able to put it down.
My Vapesirs mechs are great too. I have the Sir Lancelot Dark Knight and the Hellsir (Parallel Box, Solid Copper).

Yeah, I know they are great. I got the kiss v2, a core and that expensive ryu Jin dragon mod they just released.
I love the fuse they use but Kostas told me the 12 will actually go to 20 amps which means you could rock a .25 if u wanted. I went as low as .2 but couldn't get it to trip still. I'm hoping there was so much sag the amps weren't high enough. Hopes

I collected tubes for a couple years, before getting into REOs, which I use exclusively now. Caravelas are beautiful, no question. I would have bought one, if I had been able to get one at MRP. My problem has always been, and continues to be, I refuse to pay 'flipper' prices, or over MRP for mods and attys.

What do you think about me designing my own mech?
I can't machine so it would cost a fair bit of money to do it from scratch or just get a piece from like fat daddy vapes and then pay a professional to engrave my design? What you think

OHHHH, I didn't realize that was a Gus. That was you that posted a pic of it elsewhere in this forum. That thing is so pretty. Just went to the Gus site and it is now in the "Once Upon A Time" section, Sold Out
