It really depends on the juice and your taste. I thought I'd like higher wattages/voltages. When I got the twist battery, everything tasted better with lower wattage/voltage.

Instead of buying a bunch of different resistance coils and being hit or miss, I'd suggest buying a twist battery and maybe a pack of the 3.0 coils. In my experience the twist battery battery makes far more of a difference than different resistance coils. The 3.0 coils will help you use more of the voltage of the twist battery. The lower the resistance, the hotter the juice will burn; the higher, the cooler. If you run a low resistance coil with a cranked up twist battery, you'll burn coils pretty quickly.

All IMO. The twist battery gives you far more flexibility than coil resistance does.

In general, as most unregulated batteries operate for the most part in the 3.7 volt range, a 2.2 to 2.4 ohm resistance to me is just about right. Of course, some ejuices will taste better at a slightly higher or lower resistance, so it doesn't hurt to have a couple different coils with varying resistances.

IMHO Halo got it right with using the 2.2 - 2.4 ohm coils in their Triton tanks to match with the batteries.

Agreed. And i also feel that the other coil options, such as 1.8-2.0 and 2.8-3.0 are more for the variable voltage battery so that you can crank up the voltage at 3.0 ohms or go as low as 3.3 volts for the 1.8 ohms.

I am trying to keep things simple. I have stuck with the "standard" 2.2-2.4 ohm coils and only vape Halo juice through my Triton. The 650mah bats that came with my starter kit always last far more than one day for me. For tobacco flavors, this coil resistance seems spot on IMO. I switch out the bat every morning and I am good for all day. I don't think I will be needing anything else for the foreseeable future as it works incredibly well. I bought a five pack of replacement coils but after a month, the original two are still working excellent. I clean them weekly. Still ZERO desire to light up a real cigarette! I have been saved by Halo!!!!!! :toast:

I will be looking forward to this. I have been researching the correct resistance wire and replacement wick to save money. I believe that the Triton coil is very close or identical to a Kanger T2 but there are no YouTube vids for recoiling an actual Halo Triton yet. Let us know when you release the tutorial! :)
