I like the Tesla DII myself. It's around $30 for an authentic, has three posts, an insanely deep well, and looks cool. :)

A Magma clone also is a good choice.

A lot of other clone drippers are almost designed for competition/cloud chasing. Might be good in a few weeks. Personally, I'd go with a Tesla, or a Magma clone. Those are the only three posters I know of with really deep wells. But, I by far haven't seen it all. ;)

Well, I just got back in the game and decided to do rda's. Did a bunch of research and I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Doge yet. It's got all the specs you're looking for: Cheap ($35 cheap enough?) Deep juice well, 3 posts, and good adjustable airflow. (How does an 11mm air slot sound?) Add to that it's got cooling fins, a copper center pin, and a pic of Doge etched right on the side.

I opted for the marquis, but you can bet I'll be picking up a Doge soon.

Here's a link to a place that has them in stock. Doge RDA by Congrevape | Coval Distribution

You really can't go wrong with a Magma (there's a reason they're so loved); and personally I find the two-post design much easier to build on than tri-post or T/Block-post attys. My first tri-post was a Vulcan and it's great with a decent well but it barely gets used. The Magma is just an easier and more forgiving build that works great in either single or dual coil mode.

IMHO the feature you want to look for in your first atty is an open build deck with room for you to fiddle about.

Also, what are you planning on running your new RDA on? Some RDAs like the MX have ridiculous airflow that need a lot of heat (read: power) in order to produce a decent vape. If you aren't looking to buy a new mod at this time this is also a very important factor to consider. Luckily though these day decent gear can be had at a reasonable price.

I'll also suggest the CLT2, note that it's not the V2, it's the CLT2, an entirely different atomizer from the CLT. Very good flavor and vapor at a dirt cheap price.

And amusingly enough, I just got an email from them and they have apparently given up to the v's folks kept sticking in there and told me they're brining in the CLT V3.

I recommend watching some RDA videos on youtube before deciding. It took me a while to figure out what features I wanted and which ones I wanted to avoid, and videos from Grimm Green, Ruby Roo and Big Lou East Coast Review were a huge help in making the right choice. For instance, I knew I wanted adjustable airflow. So I got a Jam clone and discovered that the control ring is a pain in the neck. Then I watched a bunch of reviews and found that the CLT v1 has the kind I really wanted, which is adjustable from a knurled ring at the top, which allows you to adjust the AF on the fly without having to unscrew anything.
I also recommend checking out Angelcigs.com, as their clone prices are like Fasttech's, only they have their stock in the US so the shipping is fast and doesn't have to clear customs.

Best of luck to you!
