Hi everyone!
I just got my grand today, and as you all promised... I love it! Just have a question:
So as i understand, the relationship between the air hole size and resistance is important.. so I'm wondering what would be the best resistance for the hole that it comes with? I'm a little apprehensive to drill it out since I couldn't really un-drill it.
I know there are a lot of other variables so for what it's worth I'm using 28g round kanthal (10 wraps around cotton at just over 1 ohm at the moment). I also have some ribbon wire and ekowool laying around if you have any other suggestions... The liquid I currently am using is 50/50 and 3% koolada so getting a decent throat hit. would maybe like a little more vapor without sacrificing the throat hit and already have the coil up pretty high in the bowl...
Anyways I guess I'm just wondering what resistance you guys are building and if you've drilled at all, and any other suggestions. I'm headed to sleep now but will check back in the morning so thanks in advance!

yes the air hole is a important factor for getting the maximum from your mod and feeding device.

there really is not a formula or a equation for this. bottom line is that you want to find what gives the best performance.
the stock size air hole in the RM2 and most atty's for that matter are way to small for me even using a 1.5 coil. This is because the draw is so hard.

First I would figure out what ohms for the coil you generally like best. Than if you need to increase the air hole go one size bigger and try it for a day or two before going larger.

keep in mind heat factor. you don't want the device to get hot easily. that is a sign you need a larger air hole.

the draw you like and keeping the device running cool as possible, are the two main factors. this can be way different from person to person. and from device to device too. since everyone vapes differently.
