Best RY4?

Correct, I believe it was Janty -- which still offers it (I'd have to consult Bill Herbst's list to determine which one is the original -- Janty offers at least two.)

RY4 was crafted in 2006 marketed in 2006 by Dekang/Hangsen. Janty marketed RY4 in 2007, what's to question....

The great variety of RY4 flavours are a result of the many different proportions/ratios of the three main ingredients, but as always the original is still the best, so if somebody asks you,"What ya vaping ?", remember that there is only ONE RY4 and that is manufactured by Dekang, anything else is just a poor imitation and most times, a very 'expensive' poor imitation at that ! So, if it isn't Dekang RY4, just tell them,"it's some sort of caramel tobacco with a hint of vanilla".
My everyday, all day vape is Dekang RY4, this is because I love the taste and I'm a purist (and a perfectionist), that's why I have a Rok Star Electronic cigarette and fill it with the amber nectar that is Dekang RY4.......anything else is just inconceivable.

Um, "Mr. Yao" released HIS RY4 before or after going to jail for stealing the recipe from his original employer?? (You see, RY4 has a mysterious and shady background . . . )

After being around for awhile and reading several things about it, I personally believe that the original RY4 was created for Janty by a DeKang flavor scientist. Most likely the flavor was inspired by an old mythical flavor, Ruyan-4. All I know is that the DK flavor scientist that created the original Janty blend of RY4 stole the recipe from DK and went his own way. I do not know what became of him after that.

Not much is known about the origins of RY4 or what happened to the original recipe. I welcome anyone who was active in the industry back then to shed some light on it as well as anyone who may have tried the flavor RY4 was inspired by, Ruyan-4.

I should also note that Ludo claims the "DK RY4" available on the Janty site is the original blend.

I ordered some Hangsen from FT and wanted info about Hangsen and Dekang, before I became a member here. I had read about the RY4 at Hangsen's site and cannot miss it advertised on e-juice vendors site and thought to myself, thats cool, I have found the origin. Said to myself, I'll have to try it one day, then vaporbreak announced e-juice sale, then this...

I agree. I actually switch between Heavenly tobacco 50/50 and SI Volt RY4. The big difference is that the SI Volt RY4 seems to be more PG.

Halo Tribeca and SmokelessImage RY4 are my current favorites. RY4 and VS4 from VaporStation are also really good.
