best setup to try multiple liquids in succession

Hi All,

As the title implies, I would like to try a range of new flavours without having to switch out new attys each time.
I have two eleaf Istick pro 75w and use a mini nautilus tanks with it, I am a MTL vaper,
I have heard about RDAS and the such but am a bit confused, can anyone help to get me started on the right tank for doing this?

You need some of these for testing. Use, rinse, repeat.

These are meant for testing flavors, no wick, drip some juice in there, test then rinse it out, let it dry (or not, you can quickly fire it to dry it)

Because my taste buds change throughout the day, I vape about 3-4ml worth. I, also, think it best to vape it in a topper that I will probably be vaping it in. I run about 5-6 toppers, all the same model, with different flavors so I just add it to the group.

I did bridgeless atties, but then the flavor would be different in an RDA or RTA.

As I do vape it on and off through the day or two, I write notes including what atty I did the testing in. Notes get me a better 2nd test sample.

Be for getting into rdas I was using my subtank mini rebuildable deck for testing flavors. If you like the tight draw from a nautilus the subtank might work for you. Just pulled wick and rewick then add juice to cotton.

I use and RDA wicked with silicon for testing juice. A quick dry fire and the little to no remnants of the previous juice. I don't want to go thru changing cotton after testing every flavor.

Well my go to response for people who want to get in to building is research! Read up on battery safety and ohms law, watch some videos of some simple coil builds, read up on some wicking materials and techniques, look in to a few reasonably priced easy to build on RDAs and maybe try to get two if you can so you can have one to vape with while you're tinkering with the other.

Safety is priority number 1 so to get you started I suggest you read the following blogs by @Mooch and @Baditude :

I use RDAs exclusively(though Im seriously considering getting an RDTA) and they are great for flavor testing(with the proper build on the proper atty of course). If you're looking for a flavor chasing RDA then I recommend something like the Lush, its not too airy, very easy to build on and I use it all the time for testing liquids....scratch that....I use it all the time lol!

Well the quickest way that I usually sample a liquid is to drop a little bit on my tongue and give it a taste. Its not perfect as the flavor changes a bit when heated by the atomizer but its close enough if you're not looking to overthink it.

Ive never seen those bridgeless attys before but Im ordering some ASAP!!!! They look perfect for your use. I generally dont recommend gear I havent tried but those look pretty functional for testing liquid. They are definitely worth a shot!

Just get 5 of THESE make a bunch of pre-wick'd spaced coils, try 5 flavors then swap em out and try another 5 flavors... Thumb screws should make it quick to swap em..

Maybe it is just me, but I cannot pass final judgment on all flavors in just a few hits. Just too many times a couple/few hits would sour me on a flavor. So I test most of my new flavors in a small volume tank, an Atlantis and a Baby Beast, and try to give it a "one fill" trial. A couple of my very favorites right now are flavors I would have quit on in the first couple hits.

Oh! And I have no problem pulling the coil, rinsing the tank, filling with a new flavor, and giving the next flavor a go. It helps that I have quite a few flavors I really like, so don't do near the tasting I once did.

I use RDA's/RDTA's mostly, one drip won't really give me a good idea of the flavor, while the cotton I use doesn't really have a break in so to speak after 2-3 drips you really get the true flavor of it... Can pick up on extra notes etc...

A stovetop coil in a cheap little rda is a winner. Swap wick and on to the next.

For me the lack of air in the bridgeless atomizer was a no go. But coming from a nautilus it may work for you.

I drip nearly exclusively so take it for what it's worth. And be careful or you might send up loving the RDA and having to cast aside the nautilus lol
