I've been ordering from Tim since almost day 1 (first order was # 16) and have always loved the service and products. Great to see the expansion of new products as well. I've been trying to find the best setup with any of my bottom feeders. I have a Reo Mini, VV Ali'i and now using, because of simplicity, a little bottom feeder from Krimson Kustoms (2AA box). I haven't yet found the best atty/carto setup yet though. The LR 510 attys are amazing out of the package, but seem to totally lose flavour and any vapour production after a while (say a week to 2 weeks). Same with the Carto's, I've tried boge carto's (not from Greenhouse, some older ones from IKV) and same, out of the box they're amazing but quickly lose it's 'bite'. The DC Carto's from smok Tech are great too, but too new to judge still, and I'm waiting to hear back from Tim since I got a pack of clear 2.5ohm regular ones. The clear sleeve on them came off of the bottom portion of the carto and was wondering if anyone has experienced that?
would the matte black or stainless option be a more solid 'build'? I'm wondering if the plastic clear sleeve just couldn't take the heat, but I thought the DC carto's from smok Tech were pretty good and I'm going to hopefully try a batch of the matte black or stainless and also try the LR versions.... what do you guys use for your bottom feeders?
I'll add I do minimal 'maintenance' with them, I may blow them out between flavour changes, but nothing like dry burns or boiling them or anything like that. Don't do any maintenance at all with the carto's either.
