I've found that some of the juices that have become my favorites don't do too well in a tank setup or on the ego-c. I've read that two punch holes in a tank carto helps but haven't tried that yet. So far these juices are best dripped on my VV. Direct dripping is great, but not very convenient.

Any suggestions? Is it time for a bottom feeder?

Two holes would probably work better. I use a 3.0 ohm carto in a DCT on my Lava Tube. However, I've vaped Boba's on my eGo with a single punched carto without any problems. Be sure to dry hit every so often to pull the juice into the carto. You can also thin your Boba's with 2 or 3 drops of distilled water (according to AVE) without affecting the flavor. This should make it wick better into the carto.

Thanks, Andy. I was just looking at that mod (Would love a full size REO, but they don't ever seem to be in stock.) - the VMOD seems to use a proprietary atomizer, but is 510 threaded. I'm also curious to know if you can use a standard 510 atty on those, if that's even possible- I really have no clue how the feeder tubes tie in to the atomizer.

Thanks, Mud- Distilled H20 sounds like it's worth a try, especially if I could vape it from the Ego-C tank without inhaling burnt atomizer. Will try two holes- one hole did work, but required me to constantly work to get liquid back into the carto. Would you advise a tanked two-hole punched 3ohm over a bottom feeder?

Tomorrow marks three weeks without analogs, and I'm still very much so learning- I've got a sample of juices from the best of 2011's Juice of the Year coming soon and want to make sure I've got all the tools to fully enjoy :)

I have REOs and the Zenesis. Both are fine choices for BB or any other VG juice. The REO is plug and play. I strongly suggest the HH357 from Avid as the atty of choice. You'll need to clean it weekly. My initial one is now in rotation, but it's been going since the last week of December. YMMV.

Then there is the Zenesis. It's a Genesis atty hybrid. You'll be making your own attys out of SS mesh--325 for VG;) and kanthal wire. You can control the resistance by the number of wraps of Kanthal you use. It is an advanced user device. It is also drop dead gorgeous-at least to me. There is a learning curve. More people are learning to use them every day. It is an impressive vape once it is dialed in, but it is not always plug and play. Again YMMV.

I also have a carto tank or two, on a lowly Lava Tube. It's a back up, but I've used it for Bobas. I liked being able to dial in the vape, as Boba's has different flavor characteristics at different voltages--at least to me-- but Bobas and my Boges don't like each other for very long. They clog. My GF likes AVE Rootbeer--It will kill a carto in 2 or three days.

There are choices, each has benefits and draw backs. I prefer to get away from the Cartos, but many swear by VV and Carto tanks.

You can say I don't know better, but I have no problems with Boba's in regular Boges in tanks (self punched, two large holes). I only dripped it in my HH 357 since I don't have any feeder mod, but it does work great in that miracle atty.

I've also been thinking of a Vapemate for my HH 357 and ProVari. Would that work great for Boba's and the like?

I think I'll hold out for a REO- maybe a VV (I agree that BB has different taste attributes at different powers)

The VapeMate looks like a nice option too, but doesn't look as portable and not sure I want to be seen with it in public ;) I was planning on purchasing one today to hold me over, but it too is sold out.

Can't give any kind of advice regarding bottom feeders. I've never used one. If someone wants to send me one to try though... LOL
