So my local B&M is heather's heavenly vapes, whose juice [especially NETs] have nothing comparable in any other local store, and they are great people so long story short, as much as I would like to order certain things online, I limit myself to only buying from them in order to support and keep the juice flowing. Now HHV doesn't always have the newest stuff for months and tend to get mods of particular brands that they either get a good deal on wholesale [i assume] or that they feel are quality. So I started using Lightning Vapes 316l SS claptons and tried temp control on my reauleux R2/3 and ipv5 with vary quality. I had a wehe asmodus minikin too but screen is scrambled after one drop, the R2/3 soldering problem occured and the IPV 5 door magnets fell off within a few days and was having to keep the door on with a rubber band.

So a month ago, I took a look at s omething else and from a company I had never heard of. It was the arctic dolphin adt-210 TC mod. It cost 55 dollars, equal or less than the three units above. THis mod showed me what temp control can really do.

You like NETs? Imagine getting slightly different flavor every ~25-30 degree F. From a cool, thick, plume from HHV sludge at 380, the entire flavor character mix at 425, Chocolate notes ring out 480, and something completely different and lovely at 525. If you haven't used temp control and can't afford a DNA mod, this is THE mod for excellent TC and price based on my experience.

I have scoured the internet to figure out what the bloody chipset is and no one, i mean no one, has revealed it. There's a youtube video of the pre updated version of this mod where the reviewer opens it up and remarks the 'familiarity' in a very uh-huh tone of voice that he recognized the chipset. Another forum mentioned it as a dna clone propriety [correct word?] where all the data is preset as you don't enter wattage in temp control, the mod works out the best power to get that temp. I wouldn't have thought that would work but sure enough, better than any IPV, wismec, admodus I have tried [with exception to IPVd3, the strongest and best VW that I have used and sadly the last good mod Pioneer for you has released].

The vape i get is perfect, perfect flavor for the temp i set. and if i want to change it up, just up or lower degrees. The arctic dolphin also can TC Platinum, Ni, and titanium but personally, i think i finally found that apex of flavor...

Using an ijoy tornado 150, there are some better ones i would prefer as smaller chimney is now the rage for rtas, those of us goblin OG and Goblin mini users new this from the start. Annoying to refill so much, ya it is. but worth it? more than you know.

I have tried and tried different coils, premade demonic killer coils, spaced clapton, contact clapton and my perfect vape seems to be:

SS 316L inner diameter 2mm, 7-9 wraps depending, ~.4-.55 resis. Cotton Candy cotton [similar to cotton bacon i think, looks just like it] medium wicked where you twist it as you pull through coil so that when you let go a slight pull on either side won't pull it through or move coil. hard pull would move coil and some say that's too much wick and it always was...until the arctic dolphin.

All these things combined are just amazing and i needed to share it because I don't know any other vapers outside HHV. So if you are wanting to go into the shallow end of TC mode, I definitely recommend this year old mod [same chip they use in stabilized wood models]

All peace always amigos

I got the kanger kbox 160 and the tc mode is the same as yours. You just set the type of metal, ti,ni,or ss, and temp and it does the rest. It has wonderful flavor and is consistent. I've been mixing my own juice, an ry4, and vapeing it for several years now and it has never tasted better. It's all I vape on and I'm falling in love with it all over again.

My IPV5 is doing fine, magnets secure, bought last summer, does TC, and cost less than $55.

Next.
In the words of Undoomed, hey ....., ....ing .....! It wasn't a challenge or competition, seeing so many say they didn't care for TC or weren't sure about it and decent price. I thought I'd let people know what worked for me
