best throat hit anyone? help!

So, after a month of research and testing, I have purchased an 650mah ego kit with smok mdcc. I mostly smoke Johnson creek domestic which has an amazing flavor imho. But after some time, I would assume my ego batteries are starting to weaken as the flavor, throathit, and battery life have diminished. I have had my eyes on the bolt and the joyetech 18650 ego mod with a vivi nova clearomizer mostly because I've read it offers tons of vapor and flavor. Does anyonehave any sudggestions as to what offers the best throat hit and vapor? Or where to buy it from? I'm soo confused with how many sites and options that my brain is starting to throb! Lol.

High PG levels and high nicotene levels (mg) provide throat hit.

High VG levels provide more vapor.

Maybe a 50/50 mix (50% pg 50% vg) in 18 to 24 mg nicotene would be best for you.

I'm using a Green Sound vv mod with a vivi nova. The variable voltage is nice since I can move through the different voltages to find what works best with each juice I'm using. I use high vg percentage juice so I'm getting lots of vapour but not as much throat hit.
I haven't tried Johnson Creek juices but higher pg content juice or higher nicotine content gives the best throat hit.

I agree with having a VV device. Different juices have differing "sweet spots" for you to explore...

I was aware that higher pg content provides a better throat hit but, I didn't know about the nicotine giving better throat hit too, thanks! I do t think I have the money for the vv or vw apv that I want so ima stick to a mechinacal mod for now..... What about the clearomizer or tank carto? Which one? Where? Do they make a dual coil clearomizer? Or is it necessary? Thanks again for the excellent info.

best TH comes from stuff that is not legal. sorry. never put much stock in TH until i started vaping. now i too am in search of the ultimate TH. trial and error. find the vendor with the right juice, and let the rest of us TH addicts know.

I had trouble with throat hit at first as well - no juice I tried gave me a sufficient "kick" like I was used to with a cig.

There is a workaround to this - menthol. Find the strongest, iciest, coolest menthol juice you can and buy a big jug. It's not 100% the same, but it's enough of a kick that it will suffice until you get used to it. You can also add menthol to nearly any juice you have to perk it up.

iClear 30 is awesome. The flavor is amazing. When it does leak it blows clean pretty easy. It screws together, so it wont fall apart in your pocket, no missing parts or juice all over the place.

I've been vaping on mine for about a month and it is the best atomizer I've ever used.

I use Halo, Heather's Heavenly, and Totally Wicked titan juice, all taste great in this thing. The only thing that compares are carto's.

It has a good throat hit, not sure if it's the hardest ever but it's good.

I can think of somthing with a great throat hit that's illegal.... But it def isn't a e juice, lol. Anyway, the flavor "solstice" by Johnson creek is A citrus menthol with a slight hint of green apple at the end that has a great throat hit but prob is I don't like menthol, lol. It's the best menthol I've had so far and I use it when I'm really stressed.


To all you vg fans, I know I'm a newbie but Johnson Creek has the vg juice down packed! The domestic, solstice and the vandia "vanilla" are superb!

And yes, I will report all my trial and error for all you to read. Thnx again you cool mo fo's!

For me my desired TH came when I moved to a VV/VW device. Every juice and clearo/cart tank reacts differently and being able to dial in VW in my case does the trick. I will tell you I don't even like a good TH after I stop firing and inhale I need it the whole time im inhaling.

Marcado will give you a great hit. I don't think it tastes like Cinnamon or Clove... it's Marcado. Vaped several bottles of this, been too long...

Try a spinner or a twist. You can increase voltage a bit. It will enhance TH somewhat.

I think cartos give a better TH than tanks.

As far as a tobacco juice with a lot of flavor & amazing throat hit.
The best I have found so far. Whisper by eVo. It's a PG/VG blend.
Has a ton of RY4 type flavor, with a whisper of smoked plum.
Will knock your socks off in 24mg!

Wow, that sounds nice. I'm a firm tobacco e juice fan. Even though others are nice, I like tobacco e juice more than I ever liked cigs.

nothing gives me more throat hit, flavor and vapor production than a low resistance 1.3ohm coil on a dripping RBA at 8 watts.

just as an update, i mistakenly ordered a "vivi tank" instead of a vivi nova and feel like a fool... with my joytech 18650 mod and an aw high drain imr, in hv or 3.3v reg. mode, and trying all 3 coils, this thing offers only flavor! no vapor or throad hit. thumbs down.... or am i doing something wrong?
