As far as the volt goes & the starter kits? What the diff between the 2 chargers?

The basic kit comes with a usb charger only and no wall wart which means you would have to plug the charger into your computer or a usb hub to charge. The standard kit comes the the charger and the wall wart. The pro kit comes with a PCC (personal charging case) that has a battery that allows you to charge on the go. I personaly think you're better off with the standard kit and an xtra battery or two. The two batteries in the standard kit will be fine to get you started and then you can order some extras later. It's always a good idea to keep a few extras of everything knowing the inevitable will happen...

I'd go with KR808s -

1) .Good vendors like Vapor4Life (V4L.com) that have sales almost every week. Sign up or visit their forum here at ECF to get the latest coupon codes. Popular model, many vendors, now have a host of cigar type batteries options if you need them in the future. All the vendors' stuff is compatible.

2) Batteries don't last forever, but XL versions will go a few hours. Come in a rainbow of colors and designs, with leds and without, auto and manual.

3)4.2 off the charger fades to 3.7 (510s start at 3.7 and fade to 3.2)

4) Fairly inexpensive so you can own many if you lose a few. Have a nice Bloog for special occasions and a bunch of V4Ls for everyday vaping.

5) Best flavor selection of prefilled cartomizers and plenty of options for fill your own blanks.

6) An inexpensive KR808 passthru that works at 5V for your car and office. With a .99 808 to 510 adapter and a good 510 atty, you can try high voltage vaping.

7) They vape very well as long as you are happy with cartomizers and the cigarette size.

KR808D1 - Ultimate Starter Kit you get choice of charger. Which 1?

If you buy it from Vapor4Life it's basically the same price and both types of chargers are included.

Edited to add that you should always check for a sale code from V4L before ordering. I can't remember where that info is but you can check the V4L sub-forum. I think there's an 18% off sale right now.

If you want a traditional size in a more elegant package, check out the Precise 10440 from Super T Manufacturing.

I'd get a very basic kit and see if you like it first. Then order the extra batteries, chargers, etc. Shipping from anyone is only a couple days.

It may not even be the right fit for you. You won't know until you try it. Just don't throw a lot of money at something that may not work for you.

Because honestly, I know you said you don't want an ego, but you could get three egos for some of the prices your spending on a mini.

Before you buy anything, read the website for warranty information. Check their subforum if they have one. See how questions are being answered by the supplier. When I was researching KR808's for my mom, the way customers questions, complaints were handled turned me off completely from one supplier.

Me too, and it's a real shame because the products themselves are excellent.

I'm gonna stick up for the joye 510! I've been using them since I started in feb. I have not noticed a short battery life...however I carry 3 with me at all times so by using 3, the battery life is tripled so to speak. I rotate 6 batteries...using 3 and charging 3. I like my pcc too.

...just goes to show there just ain't no "right" way...just what works for you...whatever that may be, is the RIGHT WAY!!!

Clear as mud yet?

It really is about personal preference.
You now have information overload!
I do think ANY of the choices here would be okay to start with. You won't be making a mistake purchasing any of the suggested sizes or brands.

My one suggestion...
Purchase the largest battery you can. Half the postings on this forum concern lackluster battery performance.
I too bought the small format at first, (BluCigs) until I became tired of screwing with the batteries all the time.
But hey...They look cool!
That wore off after two weeks and I purchased an Ego.

Good luck!

Pete

Somewhere out there
So after 2 weeks of reading all types of threads here & confusing myself even more I've atleast made this part up. I want to go the traditional size route. I've bought about 4 disposable blu cigs from walgreens & with my job & lifestyle for now this size/format will work best for me. Now I want something good. So what do I choose? A kr808 a halo g6, something else? I need you masters of the vapor force to chim in. Tell me what & why, "please no get a ego" my mind is made as far as style goes. I ded want either black or stainless also.
Feel free to post links of good deals also. I'm planning on pulling the trigger in the next 24 hours.

I had tried many minis and standard sized & my absolute favorite is Halo G6 and their juices. If you want the standard size be sure to get that when ordering, it is the longer version. Then decide if you want automatic or manual. They also have awesome tobacco juices. The batts come in really cool colors too :) This is the closest to the feel of an actual cigarette with good performance in my opinion. Get an extra battery and you could also get their PCC charger for charging on the go. I just got one and it will be great when away all day. I also want something that looks more traditional and light and slim, so am really happy with Halo G6. Good luck! bnrk
