To vape at 6v you have to feed the atomizer liquid. If you drip than 3 or 4 drops is good for around 6 to seven draws. Do not use too much liquid or it will not vape. Not enough and you will burn up the atomizer. Take slow draws. How I judge when it needs liquid is when I get a slight burnt taste. Never drip into a real hot atomizer. Let it cool if it got real hot.
I do not know if you are using a cart or dripping. I like to do both.

Yes,get a HV atomizer.

Can't answer your drag question, but you may want to look into the new High Voltage attys for the 801. Eastmall sells them in three packs for less than 6 bucks each. They are supposed to hold up better at 6 volts than standard attys.

Um maybe you are not ready to answer the question .. sorry though HV atties are suppose to be the "new thing" 801s are known to hold well on 6v and most other atties can handle it as well

the question should be asked... are you getting enough liquid on the atty
you don't really want to activate the pv on a dry atty for too long

if you are using a prefilled cart you may continue to have problems with keeping the atty wet

if you haven't done so try dropping a couple of drops on the bridge the center part of the atty and see if that helps any...

you can get a good 6-7 drags off that before having to drip again
EDIT: rejoice and I must have been posting at the same time

I'm on a SB/510, but I bet the answer's similar-- you need to keep that atomizer wet without flooding it. It took me about two days to really figure it out.

I drip, so I put 3 (or sometimes 4) drops directly into the atty or 4 drops into the 510's cartridge. I attach the cartridge to the atty, keeping it parallel to the ground and take a 1 second drag or so. That seems to suck the juice from dripping out the bottom. Then I go to town with 1 - 3 second drags until I get the slightest hint of dry atty.

Repeat.

Once I got the hang of it, I can tell before I get to the 'off' drag. That way I don't have to taste anything but liquid nirvana.

Thanks for all the help. I use a cart, not dripping. I now think I've been overfilling my carts because the air flow is reduced. But I don't want to burn up another atty so soon. I've also been using it as a 3.7v most of the time instead of 6v just for that reason. I like 6v much better, just can't afford to keep buying attys.
Thanks all
