Remove it and hold it with the top side down at a slant. Drip and turn until I see it just start to pool around the lip.

I find that dripping directly into the atomizer is the best way. I usually drip about 30 drops, 10 at a time, waiting a minute or two between rounds. I prefer this over taking out the res applying directly since it's much cleaner.
The best way we have found to fill the RES is to drip liquid through your atomizer and then gently blow the liquid through into the RES. It is much faster than dripping and then waiting a minute or two and then putting in more drops and waiting again. Just make sure you dont blow too hard or else liquid will spill out of the airholes in the top of the RES, getting all over the device. After a few times of doing it this way you will find your sweet spot and it will be a piece of cake.
It would be handier if the top cap wasn't conected to the ceramix wick. You would just twist off the cap and drip right onto the the wick.
Yes but unfortunaly it needs to be connected to better protect the ceramic wick inside.
Do you have to be careful not to get juice in the air tube, or will the RES plus blowing eliminate the need to be cautious about that?
I wanted to use Dual Coil Cartos on mine with a RES but didn't think it was a practical option.

You shouldn't have to worry about juice in the air tube. I know a lot of people have used dual coil cartos with the Alphas and they work great. Glad to know you are loving yours.
That's great. I can't get enough Boba's in mine right now. I was going to try some cartomizers, but now that I have the RES working properly I don't see the point.

You definitely are right. I CANNOT get enough of this thing. I'm going to have to spring for a new top cap with a switch methinks. I want to be able to fly through different cartos for reviews. I know I can just use it with the RES or without, but it looks so much sexier with the normal endcap.
I was surprised that the thick Boba's has no problem in the RES. It tightens up the draw a tad, but no big deal. I can't believe I went so long without buying one of these!
Please forgive me, but i'm not understanding HOW the juice gets from the ceramic wick to my atty.
I get like 5 hits ( & i'm sure that is what I dripped on the atomizer), but shouldn't I be getting more with this RES thing?
The unit is really gorgeous, & works great with a tank on it. I just would like to make the RES part work, or at least know that I got it working once.
