I recently purchase a brushed stainless steel mechanical mod and got a scratch on it. What would be the best way to remove the scratch. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Welcome , and you can try a Scotch Brite pad . Depends I suppose on how deep it is . Good Luck .
You may want to try some steel wool. Probably # 00 - 0000. The more the zero's, the finer it is. I would guess that 00 would be similar to the finish [if it's sorta brushed] & that way it might blend in nicely or you could do the whole thing. Be careful.
Do not worry. Since stainless steel appliances have been around, an old trick that works wonders is to use pledge on them and immediately wipe them off with paper towels. Don't know why it works, but I have two stainless steel refrigerators and it works amazing on scratches and fingerprints. Nothing will remove really deep scratches except refinishing, but I got tired of the fam telling me I should not have gotten the brushed stainless steel finish, so I went hunting on the net for the solution and finally found one that worked.
