I have a cobra and an AC9, single wick, no fancy wick tricks (yet) just a straight up SS wick 28 kanthal 7/8 wraps.

Whats the best method for swapping out juices so one doesn't taint the other for a long period.

I have needles and syringes, it cant be change the wick every time, is there different flavor types that hang around for a long time post a juice change

any insight please?

Phil

i usaully syringe out the juice completely, then i carefully twist out the wick while leaving the coil. i take the wick and run it under some water then tourch it to dry. before twisting back the newly cleaned wick i pulse the coil a coulpe of times to clean it i then add the new juice to the tank.

I do the same, if I can get the wick out easily. If it's a little stubborn, and I have a good performing coil, I leave it. I'll just gently brush off the coil with a dentek brush. I just suck out the juice in the bottom of the tank with a syringe, and fill.

Syringe out the old flavour, burn until the coils are glowing (meaning most of the old flavour has been vaped off the wick), syringe in the new flavour, vape. :)

It is a bit tricky to get the last bits of the old juice out of the tank tho (at least on my ZAP), but tilting the tank around a bit to get the juice where the needle tip is helps.

If you don't want to dry burn, you can skip that step. After a few vapes the old flavour will be gone from the wick anyway. I find genesis attys to be great at switching flavours with minimal overlap (compared to cartos or silica wick clearos).

Hmmm, think might go over kill but I don't want to mix flavors. I syringe out the old if there is any left. I then syringe in some water, take it out and then put water over the top to clean. I even do a flick of the wrist like when filling a carto to get any water on the cobra tank to the bottom and get the extra out. Then dry burn and fill.

I do think mine is over kill but then there is zero over lap and only takes about 5 minutes to do.

I do about the same. Syringe out the juice, syringe in water, run the coil for a few seconds, syringe out the water, run the coil until the wick is dry (all the coild light up), refill with juice.
