Best wick And wire on rba

I use 32 gauge kanthal wire, wrapping it around a paper clip 5 times (i don't have a resistance gauge to tell you what i run) with a cotton wick. It is a top fed clearomizer and the cotton wick is 100% cotton yarn that i boiled and dried.
What do you mean by best? I can get good flavor and clouds from almost any combo of wick and wire as long as the wrap is good and I don't burn it. If you mean what brand I would say purchase from a reputable company until you feel comfortable finding deals from places like Ebay.
I've used 28 and 30 gauge Kanthal with 400 SS mesh and cotton. I like the production from 28 gauge with cotton, but a complete newb here, so YMMV.
I'm using sterile rolled cotton with 28g kanthal on a kayfun lite plus clone. Just filled it with some El Kamino, and I must say it tastes entirely different from vaping on my Kanger ProTank II with a brand new head. Anyone use silica wicks on kayfun/protank that can point to a good instructional video? My searching abilities are not lacking, I'm just looking for a good comparison. Also, apologies for the necro of thread.
I've had good luck with just plain 28g kanthal and cotton. It's a pick your poison kind of game

I have tried all different variations of coils and for me the best setup for flavor and warmth is twisted 20 gauge kanthal wrapped 8 times around a 5/64 drill bit. This will be about .8-.9 ohms and is perfect for me. I like to keep the ohms near 1 to conserve on juice and battery. .2 or .3 ohm coils are just too hot for me and blow through fluid. Another benefit of twisting kanthal is it is so much more durable than regular kanthal.
