I remember that after 20 minutes or so I just relt relaxed, wasnt fretting about needing to do this and that.
I dont know if you know what a nic juice tastes like, that pepperyness. If so, maybe try a little of the new brew to compare pepper strength. Might not be so strong in nic, but if there's nic there will be the other alkaloids too

On the tongue, my liquid has a peppery taste but also a sort of heavy fruitiness. I wonder if this is the acid and if I should add a pinch of sodium carbonate to it?

Don't add any carbonate, it tastes disgusting and some might remain after any neutralisation. I'd leave it as is.

I'm not sure what the nicotine content of the snuff is - but I think it's quite a bit higher than regular ciggies. I can taste nothing in the juice that suggests it's made from snuff.

No - I used about 18 grams. The stuff I bought came in a 56gram (2oz) tin for about £5.30.

I'd say I ended up with around 5ml - maybe a tad more (before adding any VG).
So 18,000 mg snuff. 1% alkaloids - 180mg
180mg / 6ml = ~ 30mg / ml
Oops, factor in a 50% extraction efficiency : ~ 15 mg / ml - that's good !
So end product is about 30 ml of 15mg/ml WTA liquid from about £2 of snuff
