I am vaping this stuff right now. I want to reiterate how very calming it is. So calming I feel like going to take a nap!... okay, maybe that is counterproductive to concentration, next time I will leave out the valerian and just go with the PF.
I found one source for passionflower alkaloids in freebase form and was thinking that might be the way to go to eliminate the off taste that the vg based tincture seems to have.

Very interesting - maybe drop me a PM of the source.
btw: extraction of alkaloids from tobacco with ethanol is improved by adding at least some VG to the soak.
I'm interested in another source for alkaloids as not a big fan of tobacco taste (at least, not the cig stuff).
Ok,... "toxic when ingested in sufficient amounts...Do Not Ingest...Not sold for consumption".....I'm really interested, now. On my own I think I could figure out how to make myself glow under a black light, but that's about it. Keep posting, fellas
.
gsa, I make my own. I do an alcohol-based extraction. The stuff works and tastes nice. A little earthy, but not like what you described. I think I will try the glycerin extraction method next. Which makes sense, I was used to making tinctures with alcohol, so just stuck with it. The VG idea is a no brainer for these purposes, so thanks for the prompt on that kinabaloo.
My husband, who doesn't smoke, will even puff on it straight (no nic).
I imagine mileage may vary. But so far, any more than three drops and I get sleepy. Usually two or three drops per session does the trick. I don't use it every time, so, I definitely feel it when it's in there. I am not a very big person, so that may be why, dunno. I just am very sensitive on the whole. I definitely get the same sense of calm as with a cig. When it's not there, I feel anxious and actually smoke more. Which is actually counter-intuitive to the research. I think it is because my brain is not satisfied with the result. When I get the calm, I feel sated and put it down.
