I received the 3 pack of disposables. They were packaged in a hard plastic type case that was nice for storage. I took them down to my neighbors house and we all sat and tried them out. We all took our first vape and thought hey these aren't too bad. They are soft and squishy like an actual cig and light up red on the end and seem to put out a decent vapor without having to suck for your life. Definitely better then the gas station disposables we had all tried. I tasted a hint of menthol on the inhale and my neighbors husband tasted menthol on the exhale. A few more vapes in and 1 of the cigs burns my neighbor's lip. She let her husband try hers and it did the same to him. So I tried. While it did not burn my lip it did get alot hotter than the other two had been. I figure one out of 3 wasnt to bad. We all agreed it has that cigarette taste that now that we are vapers we do not miss. I believe these would be a good item to pass around to new vapors to let them know that there is an alternative to cigarettes and who is still looking for that cig taste. I personally am into all the fruity and dessert type flavors and some tobaccos so I am no longer looking for that cig taste so they would not be my cup of tea but would work in a pinch when I had nothing to vape. I believe these are the closest thing I have had to a real cig without actually being one. I will most likely get several of these to pass out to people who are interested in vaping but don't want to drop alot of money until they know what it is like.

Ok guys, heres my review of the Esolid. I cant get the videos and pics to load from blogger to the forum, so I included a link at the top

Its back. ESOLID, the gel/paste eliquid.
ITS BACK. About two years ago I got a hold of a tube of Esolid by Feellife from the UK. It was untested and unregulated. Now its back and reformulated and currently only at Gotvapes.com Last time I got to play with this stuff I recognized the huge potential of a solid that lasts about 5-7 times longer drop for drop that liquid. There are a few different atomizer options coming as well, in this review Ill be demonstrating the "bulb" and giving you some info on the "V-Hit" that is set to come out soon. This is still "where no man has gone before" territory so there are a lot of questions, so lets see if we can answer a few of them. 1. Is it safe? From the material data sheets I have read up on I am comfortable testing it, but I do not make any claims to its saftey for others, I am simply reviewing a new product.
What is it? It is a paste form of e liquid that evaporates much slower that e liquid. That of course is because as it heats up it melts into a liquid and then into vapor. Think of it like e liquid concentrate, just like orange juice. Now the interesting thing is the reaction when the concentrated vapor gets mixed with more air, its like adding more oxygen to a fire. Ill demonstrate later in a video For now lets take a look at what weve got.

The paste is a lot thicker that the last version and a lot smoother. The last version seemed to have some mixing issues that worried me, It was a little chunky at times and even broke down in to pieces as it vaporized. So far nothing but smooth liquifying and evaporation from this version
And Im sure a lot of you are curious about the ingredients, so here you go


The bulb is similar to a CE2,3,4 ect with a short wick and coil in a ceramic cup. The buld is held on by two rubber washers and a stubby drip tip seals the top
The bottom is 510 but not actually eGo threaded but fits snugly on an eGo none the less. You can also notice the air hole the center post is the same size as the air hole in the ceramic cup. Air flow can be an issue if your not careful

Heres a shot of the wick loaded with a couple dabs of e solid, again be aware of the air hole



Now that weve got it loaded, lets give it a try. I have it on a standard eGo battery 3.7 volts. This liquid is Banana flavored and medium nic, which I believe to be 16-18.Here we go.
Flavor/First hit.This is not for "dainty" vapors. I dont care how awesome of a coil you build or how many watts your putting out on your device. This will make it feel like a cheap gas station disposable! 10 drags and Im done, my head is swimming. I was pushing through it to try and use up all the e solid I put in it but Im done. Ok after some time I came back and noticed another unique thing about esolid


It re solidified. Hmmmm. I scraped the reconstituted esolid and put it back in the coil.....not a grat idea. It has lost most of its flavor but not its KICK. It is a little weaker but without the flavor its not worth it for me. If you a hard core nic head....by all means have at it.

I poured the excess out and refilled the cup. I tried putting the esolid right on top of the coil but had limited success. Ive found that filling one or both sides while leaving the middle open but making sure that it is touching the wick seems to be the best method. I will also warn you that unless you plan on vaping it for a while, its better to just fill one side as once it liquifies it will clog the air way and mix with the esolid "leftover" liquid that didnt vaporize yet. Use what you fill when you fill it , once it or again it goes to waste.When refilling you may have give it a hard pull or inhale to clear the air way if you got any of it into the airway. But as it warms up it will come loose also wait till it has cooled to refill or your just wasting it. Blow on it a few times till its cool to the touch or just let it set for a minute. This is still much like dripping but imagine 4-5 drops lasting longer and giving you much more vapor. Like I said before its concentrated and quite potent. Lets get a little video demonstration. Notice when I click the button its starts to vaporize, but when I start to inhale the bulb fills with thick vapor
Now here is the same amount burning in open air with out air flow being forced into the mix
Ignore the background noise, this is why I write reviews. Its never quite enough to film, I would have to take 30 takes just to get the intro.
So the delivery system is a little different and does take some training and tweaking to get it right and the V hit is coming soon as well. Its a funnel shaped cartomizer

But from what little I have read it seems like an excellent way to "funnel" the esolid directly to the coil and avoid the waste of the bulb. Im looking forward to trying it too. Im not sure what flavors gotvapes will be offering but I know it comes in most all regular flavors from tobaccos to fruits, and sweets.

Easier to carry smaller amounts, no more carrying a 30 ml bottle

With the buld, refilling is still required more than a cartomizer
Still no long term studies on how your lungs handle it

Disposable 3pk

First off i love the hard plastic case, its just super convenient. The look, feel, and even resistance on the draw are remarkably similar to an analog. I can see how these would appeal to new vapers, or the curious to try vaping for the first time.

I should note i only took maybe 30 puffs off of one. What i noticed in the one i used: somehow liquid (possibly condensation) was coming from the mouthpiece.. followed by the nic sting on lips and tounge (after about 4 or 5 chain vapes). I didn't notice an air hole so i (stupidly i might add) tried to "feel" for the air hole by gently blowing into it.. its in the end with the led btw.. well the switch got stuck .. (did i mention stupidly) .. it started to get warm so i frantically took draws on it and the switch either let go or it has a safety cutoff (i hope the latter).

Flavor is subjective, but i can say it did taste somewhat like an analog to me..which is good for the market it's intended for.

The LED on the end isn't over bright and the fact it slowly fades away like an analog to me is neat.

Would i recommend it as is? Probably..but i'd suggest a nice bold warning on the package about not being a ..... like me and blowing into it =P (i had never used an automatic before) ..and if the condensation / liquid coming out the end is an isolated thing..if not it might need addressing ..that nic sting gets a little intense if you keep vaping it, goes from tingle to sting.

PS: still waiting on my multimeter and some kanthal A-1 i ordered to arive to test the AGI =)

PSS: vaped the one disposable till it died .. Led flashed rapidly.. i decided to take the sticker off to see what it looked like =)

I'm still playing with the AGI but wanted to comment on the disposables.

My husband vaped one and I vaped another, the 3rd is on standby for now. I love the case The unit itself is almost eerily similar to a cigarette. I couldn't believe how light it was and how small!

The battery life is pretty terrible even for a disposable and we got about 1-1.5 hours out of it but we might be heavier vapers than some. The flavor wasn't too bad, I also tasted a coolness like a menthol but not much. It's similar to other tobacco flavors I've had that remind me of applesauce for some reason. I didn't feel like it was similar to an analog in flavor.

I had a juice-in-the-mouth situation after chain vaping a bit but that's something I experience with most filler cartos due to condensation. My husband's fired fine every time but mine was pretty fitful. Sometimes it would light up for a second and go out but more often than not it worked.

As for instructions on the AGI and it being intended for advanced users, I'd like to point out that disposables and the solid e-juice dripper were also up for grabs and we didn't have the ability to request a specific prize so some may have gotten the AGI with no previous experience with devices like it - such as myself. I've managed to set it up with a wick (thank you zipper and the links you sent!) and I'm enjoying it so far. I feel like I could have rigged it up better since I have some trouble with it wicking well but I've gotten through a tank so far. I look forward to being able to order more wick/wire and getting more experience with RBAs. Everyone's a newbie at some point

That is about how much time I get out of my Joyetech 510 Auto batteries which are rated at 220mah... so it may be short, but I think it's a typical time for what they are.

I dunno, I have several 220 mah batteries that I can get 2-4 hours on (manual and auto, though auto dies faster). They're 808s so I don't know if that has anything to do with anything. Other disposables I've tried in the past have a longer battery life but they're significantly heavier and longer.

I received the disposables to test. If I haven't already said it, "Thanks for the opportunity". The plastic case is a stroke of genius......the top flips open with the familiar technique and click of a Zippo lighter and will make a sturdy place to carry them in a pocket. The ecigs themselves have the look and feel of regular analogs right down to the "squishy" filter. The strength of the nic is indicated to be "low" but I found them to be a little too much for me. Bear in mind that I make my own juice @ 6mg/ml which probably makes me a wuss compared to most other vapers. The vape volume is sufficiently comparable to an analog and will give anyone, using them as an introduction to vaping, a good idea of what vaping is. The taste is very faintly menthol but not strong enough to be reminiscent of menthol analogs. The only drawback I experienced is that if the ecig is drawn on with any semblence of an analog draw the mouthpiece will get way too hot to be comfortable. If drawn on like an ecig using the long gentle draw technique you still get too much heat on the lips. My opinion is that these cig-a-likes look exactly like an analog and will satisfy the yen that most new vapers have which is to start vaping with an ecig that looks and feels like their analogs. The taste is sufficently similar to both analogs and ecigs which makes a good bridge between the two or a good emergency kit for the vaper who is without their familiar ecig.

For me the disposable was a good start. The 3 cigs combined gave me almost 6 hours vape bout the same as one ego standard ego. But much more pocket friendly (and acceptable) out of the house.. Look, feel and the ash cap fading was very cig like. The juice needs help I could tolerate it but the advertized Tobacco tasted like a weak mint (not menthol) to me. Blah
Would love the hand a good strong tobacco out to my smoking friends.

There are several factors that come into play with how long a battery will last. The primary two are what voltage ( 3.3v or 3.7v ) they are set to ( if they are regulated ) and what ohm the carto/clearo is at. I believe the Joyetech 510's are set at 3.3v regulated... The recommended ohms are to use 2.2 ohm or higher in order to help lengthen the batteries lifespan ( recharge cycles ).... I'm not worried about how long the battery will last as much as how the vape itself feels, so I push mine and typically use 1.7 / 1.8 ohm and usually no higher than 2.2 ohm. Using such a low ohm carto/clearo increases the amperage output ( and wattage ) which also shortens the amount of time the battery will last in a session. I also suspect that on auto batteries... how quickly the switch turns off will also affect the length of the session... mine don't turn off very quickly at times. Of course... lastly the other factor is how long, on average, of a drag we take.

To get more technical with the disposables and guess-timate how long they should last... we'd need to know their battery capacity ( mah ), voltage output and what ohm the carto they are using has.

just attempted to wick and coil the AGI with silica ... tried for an hour .. came out as 3.2 ohm .. was like w t f .. so tried to recoil it again.. broke the wire.. and quit out of frustration .. for now... its my first RBA so don't judge the device by this.. just a newbs perspective

i'll try again once my 100ft of 32 gauge wire gets here

It probably won't take you long to get the hang of it... but as an alternative, you can pick up a wick/coil for the Hyper SRT or similar and use that to get you started. GotVapes carries them in the Advanced -> Rebuildable ( shortened ) area on their site

The AGI is a really nicely made, versatile, and good looking RBA.

My only biotch about the AGI... in order to make it usable as a dripper there is a ridge around the atty plate. This makes it a wee bit harder to connect the negative end of the coil at the screw in the base when building it in Genny mode. (Harder relative to the Berkshire AGA-T+.) No big deal.
