I have had a 510 since late June, and all my batteries still last one and a half to two hours. You may have a bad battery, or maybe your charger is bad. Have you contacted the supplier?

I too have seen good reviews on the TW Mega batteries, but haven't tried. I just keep about 4 bats with me when I go out, and rotate.

yeah ive heard about the totally wickeds. i have one coming in the mail.

it seems like after two weeks the batteries only last 20 minutes.

i heard trog speaking of how the lithium batteries design makes them prone to this.

i am just frustrated with this happenig lol

I'd have to say your complaint isn't a common one. Yes, the 510's don't last as long as the 901, but 20 minutes seems short. Are you vaping continuously? If you're a chain vaper, a USB Passthrough is the way to go. It even has a battery for when you're on the go. But everyone's habits are different. If you vape a few minutes and then wait an hour the same battery could be said to last 2-3 hours. I vape more than I used to smoke, because I don't have the though of how much $$$$ was going up in smoke every time I lit up! I don't vape any more than I smoke, but I do vape longer. So it's like I'm smoking two cigarettes worth at a time, but usally putting 45-60 minutes between vapes. At work I can go 2 hours between vapes. Fortunately the 510 delivers on the nicotine. Some people take 5 puffs and walk away.

Okay, end of speach. But... Do you clean your connections regularly? You don't have to worry about juice getting down to the battery but you still need to clean the ends on a regular basis. Also, do you take a battery out as soon as it turns green? Do you get a longer vape time if the battery has been sitting in the charger overnight?

P.S. And I do chain vape when I'm sitting at the computer. That's what the passthrough is for. An absolute must in my book.

got the megas from TW four days ago for my 510, they are lasting 5-7 hours so far,,,,,,,about an inch longer than standard, but not overwhelmly big.....apparently, the company that manufactures these is only supplying them to two venders, Totally Wicked being one.........hope they expand, my guy at Rocky Mountain Vapor says he cant get them!

    Somewhere between here and there
I recently made a 510 box mod and love it. One battery pretty much lasts all day and I get better vapor and throat hit than with my standard 510. There is a sticky in the battery mod section called how to build a nicostick. I just cut off one of my old batteries and ordered the other parts listed and in about 10 minutes of work, I had my new favorite pv. This is a fairly inexpensive way to go. The batteries are about 2.50 each, the box and switch are about 2.50 each and all you need for tools is a drill and soldering iron.

    1. i vape continously until i kill the batt. about 20 minutes in the morning (if i have time)
    2. is there anywhere i can get a good look at a passthorugh i read about them all the time, but isnt it basically a battery attached to a rope? i wouldnt like to have that rope danglin everywhere when i try to use it.
    3. my pattern is usually vape a battery until dead (morning.) 3 hours later i will vape for about ten minutes, put it in my pcc for about an hour, then vape about ten. then around five or six I will vape a solid battery after dinner while watching tv, then i will vape about ten mins before bed. then about ten more if i cant sleep.
    4. ya i clean my ends.
    5. speeches are welcome to me... that just means more info!

oh and I forgot i spend about 4/5s of my car ride vaping. i am usually in the car for an least an hour a day. this is when i vape the most

I bought a 5 pack of the Mega Power batteries. I love them. They last much longer than the standard batteries did for me.

As for the USB passthrough, I hated mine. Never seemed to get enough power. Last night I pulled the battery section out, re-soldered the wires and now I have a straight 5v to my atty. That works great and you can get a USB cigarette lighter charger and vape the whole time you are in your car without any battery at all.

I understand that Puresmoker makes a USB passthrough for the 510 that is much better made than the cheap ones you can buy elsewhere with no battery. I think they are in the $40 range, but probably worth it if you spend a lot of time in the car.

    Hope this helps.

It could be that your batteries' charging ends are getting disconnected from the charging part of the PCC. This was happening to me, so now I always put a cartridge cap on the end of the battery to try and ensure a tighter fit while being charged. I generally vape a good 2-3 long puffs per minute (on average) for about 1 1/2-2hours before recharging.
