Watch this video, a talk by a guy leading efforts to improve batteries. I think he's probably state of the art.

News like this one are abundant, battery improvement is a rare thing. Lab experiment and practical implementation are two quite different animals.

I think that we will see a New Generation of Battery Technologies in the next couple of years.

A Lot of work is being done in the area of "Solid" Electrolyte batteries.

Huge push nowadays for better battery tech. Big money to be made. Shouldn't be long.

If they don't kill vaping totally, this'll make it better and safer perhaps. Would've been nice these last few years with all the ammo we've given the ANTZ with our battery mishaps.

As long as they make a battery the same size as an 18650, so it fits all the mods I have stockpiled, it would be great!....and have them stocked at Walmart.
