Hi again I am asking for help, sorry! I have only been at this a few days, i think it's great by the way. My problem is that my battery doesn't seem to last very long, I think I read somewhere on here about extra large batteries but I cannot find where I read it.

I am using a joyetech 510-T, it doesn't bother me if it looks like a ciggie or not in fact I think it may be better to do away with the link to ciggie's altogether if I am to succeed in giving them up for good.

I am awaiting my new supply of the VG based liquid as recommended to me the other day to get rid of the suffocating feeling and I am getting used to using my vapor but my battery runs out very quickly.

Sorry I think I have rambled a bit here. If you could tell me which larger battery will go with my existing charger atomizers etc. thanks

Don't apologise for rambling Jacq :) Asking questions will not only help you but any other new members lurking :)

For better battery life, you want something like the ego/Riva. I'm in the UK, so not well up on the best place fro you to buy from, but hopefully others will come along soon to help :)

Most models now have 510 threading. But you can use any atty or carto with any model now because there are adapters ($3) for every threading type.

Several good beginner models are the E-Power 510 and the Kgo 510. Both have higher voltage and higher mAh batteries (standard) than the ego which is in the same category/size. The E-Power's batteries also will save you much money in the long run because the batteries cost about $4 whereas the ego's cost $15+. These will give your about 5 - 6 hours on a charge. Here are several well supported suppliers:

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - EGO E-Power

KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

I just got a few Riva 750mAh kits in the mail from Sweet-Vapes.com which I'll be loaning out to friends and I am highly impressed with them. I normally suggest "any eGo or clone", but I think this will be my new standard recommendation. I'm thinking about keeping a kit to use for myself and loaning out my Infernos  (which are great, don't get me wrong).

Riva SE | Sweet-Vapes E-Liquid

Choose any of those kits and you will be good to go! Go with the XL if you want longer lasting batts or the standard for one that's quite tiny yet still alot of power. I went with 3 Mega Dual Coil kits (which is why they are now sold out...sorry :p) and they work fantastic.

Also, sweet-vapes juice is very good. I'm digging fudge brownie, mapacho, spanish gold and starbuckets mocha.

I hesitate to say this, but your "suffocating" might actually come from using VG, rather than pure PG. Best I understand it is VG gives "chest hit" and PG gives "throat hit". A very experienced user on here told me when she uses VG she gets that heaviness in her chest. I actually prefer chest hit over throat hit. So, if the VG doesn't help, or actually could make it worse for you, then you might need 100% PG.

You could get something that could charge on your charger, but you'd be better off using a charger that is for a bigger battery PV bc it charges the bigger battery PVs a lot better. Your 510 charger is only 200ma so it will take a long time to charge something like an eGo or kGo.
I recommend checking out the Epower, kGo, and Riva. Their all 3.7V PVs and that have 510 connections. Their all very affordable and give a great vape with very good battery life.
I like the Epower and kGo the most and I have an Epower. The Epower uses very inexpensive non-proprietary batteries, which are removable. The batteries are 1050 mah and I get on avg a day to a day and a half on one battery. Epower batteries cost $4-5 compared to kGo/eGo/riva batteries that are $14-20. Also everything is replaceable on the Epower so it's cheaper to maintain.
The kGo is also a good PV that gives a very nice vape. The kGo uses proprietary batteries, which are not removable, but they are 1100mah so they last a long time too, and most people get a day on one battery. You would be able to charge the kGo with your 510, but like I said before it will take a long time. The kGo charger is 420ma, so it will charge the batteries a lot faster. The 510 charger can chare the kGo batteries, but never charge the 510 batteries with the kGo charger bc it will damage them.
You can buy a kGo or an Epower kit for about $45, and they both could use the cartos you have now.

I think you'd be really happy with either one and your battery life will be a LOT better.
If you do get a kGo or Epower, I recommend trying he Ressurector cartos. They work awesome on both PVs and they are all I use on my Epower. You slim ecig can only use standard resistance attys/cartos, but something like a kGo/Epower will allow you to use low resistance attys/cartos as well as SR. Most people prefer LRs, bc they provide a nice warm vape with more TH.
They Ressurectors are 1.7ohm LR and hold about 2ml of juice so they can go for quiet a while without needing a refill. And later on you could use them in a tank, which they work awesome in and you'll be able to go even longer without refilling.

Definitely get a KGO. They are the king of the EGO style PVs. Since you already have some 510 parts I'd recommend just getting a battery for the KGO. Not only are they 1100mah (can last up to 11 hours but probably less if you're a real vaper), they are rated higher voltage under load than regular ego batteries (4.0v on single coil, 3.8v on dual coil). They can even outperform some 18650 battery mods. If you want to get the whole starter kit it's 48 bucks and it comes with 10 cartomizers. 5 of which you can choose. If you get your order up to 65 bucks

My preferred supplier is Dark City Vapors. He's got the best prices I've seen and he started his business right here on ECF. You gotta keep it in the family. If you have any questions, Bill is right there on the site you can chat him up day or night.

Barring that, look up on youtube how to make a 5v USB passthrough and there you have an unlimited 5v PV right there. Just add juice and cartos or attys. I know QCAssociates's Channel - YouTube has a good video on it. Only problem with that is you can't take it on the go. You could use it in a car with a USB DC adapter but not in the wilderness etc...

I started out with ego 1000 mah batteries and they last all day . everyone sells them . If you are wise ....stick with an ego ,riva brand name and you will get good results.

The ego is only 3.4 volts. You also have to pay extra for the larger mAh sized battery since 650 mAh is standard on the ego. The Riva, E-Power and Kgo are all 3.7 volt batteries and their standard (no extra charge) mAh rated batteries are 1000+ mAh. I would skip the ego.
