The new generation 808s are better.
If for no other reason, the battery life (then the standard 510 or 4081).

I use a 4081, its a dieing style. It is hard to find a good cartomizer for it. Its becomeing commen to find the 4081s in closeout status on supplier sites.
The 808 is sold by several venders as the primary system, not an after-thought like a 4081.
The 808 has seen recent improvements, the 4081, not so much.

The 510 and the 808 are the safer bet to find compatable accesories in the future.
For me, the 510 is out of the question as I cant stand manuals and Joye 510s are (in MY understanding) the worst offenders of what gave autos the bad name in the first place.

I curently use 4081s all the time now, but after trying out a friends 808, I just placed an order for a new 808 kit which I'll be cycleing these into my rotation to become my main PV in a few months.

Ive been 808 for over a year now, did the 510 thing.. Wasnt satisfied... Absolutely no TH in comparison, but offcourse they may have changed. Atleast they do cartos for'em now.. The attys and their ekstra weird taste of something i couldnt put my finger on...Cartridges sigh..
510 manual: 150mAh. auto: 180, as far as the shorties go. 808 gen2 start out at 220, both man and auto. Think i got about halfnhour out of my man510's.... afaik the 4081 is bout the same mAh as 510?

Medium size: 510-280mAh and 808-320mAh. And then 808 has a loong thingy at 420mAh as far as the slim ones go...

My first challenge with vaping was the batt life on my Volt. I got the shorter 65mm batts (220 mah) because they allow you to store one batt and two carts in the PCC. I have since found that the extra life in the longer 78 mm (320 man) batts are well worth it. It's easy enough for me to use one while the other charges.

At first, I though there was a problem with my batts, but doing some research I found there is just at physical limitation to the amount of life you can get out of a small battery. The Volts seem to perform as well or better than most of the others. I get no more than 2 hours (heavy use) out of the 65mm batts, but can go over 3 hours on the 78mm's. Longer if I don't chain-vape.
