BetterLife 510 3-Hole Dripping Atomizers (2.0-2.5 ohm) [BL510-3Hole] - $4.99 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid

does anyone use these? they have been my atty of choice since I started dripping a couple of months ago. <--- obviously i am new to dripping and have only experimented with two types of attys (these and ciscos) so i dont know what to fully expect.

id like to get some opinions from other people who use these as well and share experiences, tips, and tricks with them.

i will reserve my impressions until others chime in, so as not to influence.

Tell us what you think about them compared to the Ciscos.

well as i stated in my OP i wanted to refrain from giving my thoughts on them so as to get uninfluenced responses...but since i havn't gotten any responses i guess it cant do any harm haha.

i like them better than Cisco for a few reasons:

1. i FEEL like they dont flood as easy
2. you dont have to be as precise when dripping (aiming for the bridge) because the 3 holes filter the juice right on top of the atty for you ---> this is great for me because im not good at holding my hand steady, and it only gets worse when im jacked up on ejuice ;)
3. flavor is great, but i cant really compare since i havn't tried cisco for quite a while, but i know its definitely on par, if not better.

i was more interested in trying to gauge the life people got out of these in comparison to myself. again, with my limited experience with atty's im not sure what to expect. i sometimes experience things that i think may be a sign of declined performance, but it might just be in my head.

for example: i know that hissing is a GOOD sound from an atty. however, ive come to notice that the atty tends to continue hissing for about .5seconds after i release my manual button when the atty is dry. an out of the box atty that is nice and wet stops hissing right when i release the button. --> i use this "post-press hissing" as a sign that i need to redrip before it gets bone-dry.

HOWEVER, with that^ said, after about a week or two of use, i often notice that my attys will "post-press hiss" even after fresh drops have been applied....is this a sign of declined performance, or is it just me? i dont tend to notice much of a change, if any, in vapor production when this occurs, but i do tend to notice a slight decrease in flavor (and maybe even a SLIGHT case of exhale throat-burn)

what are your thoughts?

Usually if it hisses after button release it means you need more juice. The wetter you keep them the longer they will last. On a fresh atty I drip 6-7 drops wait 30 secs drip 3-4 more and vape till flavor fades and drip 3-5 more and repeat. I would suggest using a 510-510 adapter and drip shield if you don't have one so you don't have to worry about leaking while keeping the coil happy.

yes im currently running an ego-c battery with a ego drip shield from empiremods.

so what does it mean when the atty hisses after you release the button, even after freshly-dripped (with an atty that has been used for at least a week, is broken in and has performed nicely up until that point)?

Means you didn't drip enough or your voltage is too high/ohms too low. Specially if it's burning your throat. Don't be afraid to flood that sucker. Gurgle is better than burning.

glad i got a hold of you on this one. so let me ask you another question.

i have my GLV-2 coming within the next couple of weeks. Its 5v resisted. would it be a bad idea to use these LR's (2.0-2.5ohm) on a 5v PV? would i be better off switching to SR? i would assume since my current combo of 3.7v/2.0-2.5ohms is potentially causing problems, the bigger differential wouldnt be the best idea?

also, on a side-note....would thicker/darker juice flood or clog an atty easier than a lighter/thinner juice? prob a dumb question, but w/e

Its 5v resisted. would it be a bad idea to use these LR's (2.0-2.8ohm) on a 5v PV? would i be better off switching to SR? i would assume since my current combo of 3.7v/2.0-2.8ohms is potentially causing problems, the bigger differential wouldnt be the best idea?

LR 1.5-2.0 ohms is really only ment for 3.0-3.7 volts. It would work but it will burn your juice quick. With a 5v mod I would go with 2.5ohm at the lowest...3.0 ohm would be best imo. The thickness of your juice really dosen't matter with atomizers if you're dripping...the darker and sweeter the juice is will clog it up faster.
