I got my hands on one of these little mods here in the forums. I didn't have much to go on except for the posted specs but it looked good and had everything I wanted in a budget priced mod. The Istick 30 wasn't announced when I bought this so that wasn't an option. I had a IPV Mini but didn't want to carry it when I rode to work, it was a little bulky and I'd have hated to drop it at 75mph. Lastly the second Istick in my house gave up the 510 threads that I have since fixed. Anyway I ordered 2 a black for me pink for the wife. They were just the basic kit, mod and 510 to ego adapter. Everyone has micro usb adapters and I never used a mod as a power bank I have one of those so the full kit wasn't necessary. They were packaged well and the finish was real nice the black is more a matte and the pink is glossy with a hint of metallic. The controls are pretty much standard round up and down buttons and fire typical 5 clicks on and off. They are smooth and give a positive click. Also there's a flashlight built in, yes a flashlight 3 clicks on and off at first I thought it was silly but have since used it a couple of times. Yes the buttons rattle a little but who walks around shaking a mod, really? The LCD display is large and well lit making it easy to read at a glance. Some were reported to have crooked screens mine were level. They were advertised at 7 to 30 watt but mine will go down to 4.9w at 3v. There is no way that I found to switch to variable volt so you have to watch the display if you adjust in voltage and stop at your desired setting. The 510 is adjustable not spring loaded which isn't an issue for me either I just ran mine all the way down before the first use. The threading looks good and is reported to be stainless. It is a little bigger and heavier than the 20w Istick. It uses an LG HE2 18650 at 2500mah. Ismoka uses 2200mah Lithium Polimer's in the Isticks and LiPo batteries are lighter among other things. Both came with about 2/3 charge on the battery so I plucked the tuned Orchid V3 up first it had a fresh 28g .7 build and was full of well steeped Boba's. I fired it off and got a pleasant flavorful vape from 22w up to my swet spot of 23.5w. I really enjoy Boba's and use it sparingly if I could afford to it would be my all day vape. Later that night I put a 26g .5 dual coil build on the Tug Boat pulled one of my local favorite max vg juices out ran the watts to 30 and had a great cloudy time for me anyway I don't cloud chase but it was getting thick in my hobby room. The battery finally gave up and it shut down so I plugged in the charger for the night. I don't know if it senses peak charge and stops the cycle but the charge indicator showed full and it wasn't flashing anymore nor was it warm the next morning. So while I waited for the coffee machine I rewicked the Orchid for the day and got my other favorite local juice ( i have three go to's) filled the tank and set it at 22.6w to start the day. Battery life was good and went for most of the day. Used normally I could get a day out of a charge but closer to quitting time I started chain vaping and well hit shut down in the drive way. The vape never changed through out the day even when it shut off the same flavor and cloud. The next day I dropped on my trusty Nauti Mini with a fresh 1.8 bvc. at 12.5w primed the hell out of it and off to work I went. Aspire changed the design of the Nautilus bvc a little the wick holes are bigger and the wick is cotton there is a thin paper on the barrel of the bvc that people claim is ceramic I don't know or care the new one works very well. I chain vape the mini all of the time for some reason and battery life was great by nine that night I still had half of the battery. The battery has improved with a number of complete cycles and I'm getting more time with the Orchid now. It seems to be tuned to RMS and has a good flat signal. The clearo has no rattlesnake to it at all. I'm not going to get technical with it. This is not a high end mod where expectations should be high. It is however a great performing mod. There is one thing that is annoying though if you change an atty before the mod go's into sleep it will set the watts to what seems to be a mid point of a build. When the screens off and you swap out it keeps the last setting. My wife found that one. She took her tank off to refill after getting her last pull and she vapes at 9w when she put it back on the watts reset to 12.8 on a 1.8 bvc. Later she picked it up from the table and refilled her tank without firing it and it held her 9w. This didn't bother me because my juice is dark max vg and 12.8 on the tank was fine 12.3 even better though. Overall it is a great little mod that does the important things right. Yes it has a few quirks but they're not a deal killer for me anyway. No the battery dosen't give LiPo performance but it's real close Sunday I killed the LG in three hours with the fellas working on bikes having a few beers and chain vaping at 30w. Funny how you can get the biggest biker in the shop in a panic with a huge cloud around his electrical LMAO. Had to be there I guess. I'm sure some of our other members that have one of these have things to add both postive and negative. I wished I could have added more but I didn't have anything to compare it to and be fair about it but with my attys and builds it did deliver a smoother vape compared to the IPV Mini that I had but that's my opinion. Hopefully the electronics will hold up long term because I will replace the battery when needed it will be worth a little effort to keep it going. My Istick 20's left a so so impression on me with power regulation and that damn 510 problem I had with both although I did enjoy my IGO L at 1.0 on it. The Beyang is another option in this class of APV and would make a good first vw mod and I would get another without a second thought.
