It depends on the juice and the device pushing it. I've found that the BVC coils that come with the mini don't get along with several of my mods and seem to prefer mods with a linear power delivery. I rarely push my mini over 4.5. Also if you're running a mini on an eGo VV set to 4.8 you're not actually pushing that much. I just tested it with an in-line meter and 4.8 it is only pushing 3.9 as it can't actually push 12W.

It depends on what ohm coil you use, and the PG/VG ratio.
The following is the recommended voltage, for Aspire's Bottom Vertical Coils (BVC) atomizer:
Code:
Ohm (O) Voltage (V)	Watts (W)
1.6 3.0 – 4.2	4 - 6.5
1.8 4.2 – 5.0 < 15
2.0 5.0 – 6.0

Aspire recommends keeping the VG below 50%

I've been using them since they came out and Aspire's limit for the 1.8 seems about right. I typically run mine with NET 70PG/30VG juices between 12.0 and 13.0 watts. I have pushed it up to 14 watts but, it seemed to get a little cranky and the juice a little too hot. Others report that between 12.0 to 14.0 is the sweet spot for the BVCs. ymmv though.

11-14 w is prob the area you want to stay in. I mean i have gone up to 20-22 w without issues but its like overkill, and your ejuice is going to go away like no tomorrow.

Im not looking for more power anymore. The aspire atlantis cameout but all i can think about is how money is going to be wasted buying even more ejuice. I would love if companies made the next tank, atomizers that will perform but also "sip" on the eliquid. Kind of like how engines in cars have advanced this way
