vape mail arrived!! A shiny new Beyang 30 watt got here finally. I'm playing around with it and can't figure out how to change from voltage to wattage. Not a big deal. I don't have anything sub-ohm to try on it yet but that will be my next purchase. I have 6 months now being smoke free and one of my twists died last week so I decided to upgrade. Anyone else purchase one of these?

Got my Beyonce beyang yesterday. Very nice.

I have not been able to change it from watts to volts.

For those of you who did not like how a nautilus or any other 19mm diameter atty hangs over the edge on an iStick, you will love the Beyang. The fatter end is 22mm, so even the bigger nautilus fits without overhang. The 510 is over the battery. It is about 4mm taller, but that permits a better 510 port, as this has a center adjustment screw.

And the flashlight does come in handy. Used it last night.

One thing that does take getting used to is this. When the display is sleeping, (after 15 seconds from a button press, but not off), it takes about a half second longer to fire. The iStick fires in about .3 sec, the beyonce in about .8 sec. But if you blip the button first to turn on the display, then it gives the normal .3 delay. Not a big deal.

More later...

Others will chime in about the other colors. My blue looks like blue metallic flake auto paint, without the top gloss. It is shiny and is grippier than my black iStick. the stick always felt like it would slip, until I Jwrapped it. The "gold" is reported to be more of a metallic champagne.

I like that the panel for the buttons is recessed a bit. There's a nice thumb grip above the fire button. And I feel the threads are improved.

And it "appears" to be tuned to RMS volts. I think it hits less than my stick at the same settings same tank. I could be wrong, but it'd be nice to have this be RMS. The sales guy from China could not answer us about that. Not sure if it was poor translation or just too tech.

Bottom line? This is totally worth $35 or $40 plus delivery.

It is not possible to change it from watts to volts and to use while charging,
It is adjusting wattage automatically when you change atty.

For now i like them very much. :)

Definitely not a rebadged istick. It doesn't have that afterthought chrome top cap. Mine came in Thursday and I've been working it hard. I haven't been able to find any kind of users guide for it anywhere. I run watts anyway so no big deal on that one. I ran a few different builds on mine with a tug v2 and it fired all from .5 to 1.1. My orchid lives on it now with a .7 dual micro build and killing it. The nauti's were even happy on it the wife at 11w and me at 12.3.

Back to the original post. I don't think it should be firing in voltage mode. This video was posted a couple days ago, and his is firing in wattage mode like ours.

Ya, but the limited instruction manual does have a graphic that indicates that you can push the plus/minus buttons somehow to change the setting. So it just bugs me that I can't seem to figure it out. But, like I said it's not a huge deal, just a nuisance...because it bugs me! I've been using it all night though and loving the feel and the fact that I can use the extra power w/out draining the battery so fast. I never used my Kanger coils at 13 watts before...nice spot for them.

I did notice when first using it this afternoon that either I was hitting the buttons or it was jumping up in watts on it's own. Probably user error because after I noticed it, I fired it differently. It doesn't have a lock feature that you can lock in your wattage preference? As I said it's my first box mod, I'm used to the twist.

Ours didn't come with an instruction manual, and I don't find one online. Can you take a pic of the instructions and post it?

Yep, now it's still jumping all around on the settings even when I'm watching exactly what I'm doing. Not happy w/ that.

That could also be your atty not making a good connection. What are you using and have you tried any other topper? You may also want to try raising the 510 pin just a tad.

Yes, I think I may have solved that. Is it necessary to shut the device down while changing up tanks/attys? I was thinking like you don't just pull the plug when you have something connected to a PC, you shut it down first. Anyway, I did that when changing tanks and now it's fine again.

A pic huh, I'll try. Not promising good quality.
