In all seriousness,... He will have 6 CC's, once these are finished. He wanted a spare for each one, just in case. Peace of mind type o' thing... :thumb:

Yep, that's it exactly. ^^^

I certainly understand the need to have a few backups of Coreys masterpieces :D

Hey Corey just updating you...love my mod. Pretty much my daily driver. Was looking back a couple pages and I saw a pic with what looked like a copper cc. You ever make those anymore?

Unfortunately, there shall be no more :(

B is correct, I'm afraid. :(
Never say never.

'Cause I think remember you saying you'd never make another one after you made the first one.

ETA: OK, you didn't say, "never". What you said was:
This mod was a,... lemme see if I can make one out of copper,... type mod. A "one off", so to speak. I am not currently doing any more from copper. I may, in the future, just not right now...
Who'd o' thought that metal so soft could wreak such havoc on tooling, machinery,... and patience.....

PS: It's sitting on my desk, right in front of me, and gets used some pretty much every day that I'm here in PA. Brass is for VA, SS is for FL, and I have enough TIs and ALs spread around to each of my haunts.

Good question. The upper, springy ones I can understand. There's always the possibility that one will break, or that the the silver contact will eventually get pitted enough that it won't polish up nicely anymore. None of this has ever happened to me, but I do have a few spare upper ones myself, just in case.

However the lower one? It isn't flexible, and it doesn't make/break a circuit, so I can't really imagine the circumstances under which it would fail.

Yeah, the ones I use the most all have some character marks; even the SS...

Being a bit of a doofus, I had a screwdriver slip when removing a -ve for cleaning. It rather gouged it. Of course, it polished up just fine, but it was the catalyst for my having a couple of spares.

I got my first ecig in August of 2010 and smoked my last cigarette September 10th. 8 years, whooda thunkit.

I’ve met a lot of great people and made some great friends here, not to mention picking up some pretty awesome mods. Thank you all.
Here’s to the next 8 years :toast:
