Big Battery Mods.

I am quite new and at the moment love my Riva XL, tank modded CE2r4's and 5V pass through.

However for the long term I have been eying up big battery mods like the GG and Icon since the batteries for these are much, much cheaper to replace than proprietary ones.

The question for all you experienced UK vapers is this, I would like one of these metal tubed vaping machines but I am on a severely tight budget being on benefits and no prospect of more money any time soon so is there a cheaper alternative available in the UK ?
I like tubes not boxes and love the 510 atomizer, I also love the 4ml tank mods I made for my CE2r4's so I can go all day without refill.

Any suggestions or do I just need to scrimp and save ?

There's the GGTB,GGTB [GGTB] - £43.99 : E-Cigz London, Discount Electronic Cigarette & cheap E-liquid suppliers, Atomizers, Cartomizers, Batteries, GGTS, Ecigs E-Cigs E Cigs E Cigz ,whilst its not the Jag of the GG E-Cigs it's the best way to try out a GG to see if it suits you but its a 901 fitting not sure if a 510 cap has been made yet.Also i couldn't imagine you having any problems selling it on if you wanted to upgrade to something else.

The GG range moves fast,be warned,i stopped at the GGT,same as you i didn't want to spend every penny i had on a million different mods.I've been using a GG Grant every day since Sept 2009 and it was definately the right choice for me.

if u get the GGTB you can get the 901 to 510 adaptor from Liberty Flights (It is sold out in e-cigz)
You can give the 910 atty a try it gives you a better flavour and vapour with a shorter draw (Just my personal opinion)

Another GG fan here

Bought one of the very first GG's (The Grant - no longer made) coming up to 2 years ago & The GGTS a year ago. They both still work as superbly as the day I bought them - even after dropping the grant down a flight of concrete stairs! All GG's have lots of safety issues built in as well, like plenty of vent holes & a lockable button.

Sham is right, the 901-510 adapter from LF is only a couple of quid - but I so love the LR901 atties - the best of all worlds IMHO

Now looking at building my own as I've had some ideas, but thanks for the comments.
Building my own will be cheaper than any of them and gives me a project to do while sitting around ill.

Ideally I reckon you want a mod that can take an 18650 battery. Check out the Bombshell available at ECigWizard. Remember shipping is free and theres a code for 12.5% off which is ECR69. Not bad for less than £40.

Other than that I recommend the classified forum over ukvapers.com where you can pick up some high end mods like the Silver bullet, Omega, and lots of others second hand, if you keep your on it...
