I have a question,
Back in the days when I first gave a shot to vaping I remember at a certain point I was using dripping atomizer where you would put a couple of drops of ejuice in the drip tips and it would go straight on the coil, that make senses to me.
But right now we see big ... drip tips( POM style) that are used with rda's ( that's what I do) but the thing I realized is if you drip inside the drip tip the juice goes mostly where the screws are and the cotton is not saturated enough IMO, it's easier to take off the top cap of the RDA and drip straight onto the cotton.
Am I the only one to think that?

Some people put their cotton over the screw holes to catch juice dripped in this manner. Since I am OCD and constantly am checking to make sure my screws stay tight, this would be annoying at best. Since my TOBH top cap is fairly loose, it just makes sense to remove it to juice 'er up. But to each their own!

I dripped right down the hole. It never resulted in any more moisture on the posts than condensation would. Why would you need to drip on your wick unless your wick isn't wicking? Liquid down the drip tip to the deck and up the wick to the coils works just fine for me.

My issue is more with juice in the slot for the phillips screwdriver, not on the post (can't waste .42ml in those slots now can we [emoji6]). I drip on the cotton just so I can immeadiately turn around and hit it, and not wait for it to soak in like wraith mentioned. Another thing is I have so much cotton in there that juice can't hardly make it's way to the deck, just the excess when I overdrip.

Also, my OCD means my brain is programmed to be set in its' ways, no matter how weird they are. But to each their own!

Some RDAs have deeper drip wells for juice. Regular organic cotton wicks the slowest of the typical RDA wick materials. Japanese (koh gen do) cotton and rayon wick much faster. Both of these things influence your RDA vape experience.

I used to vape a Trident with dual coils all the time. That has a drip well that holds around 15 drops of juice and I always dripped through the drip tip. I used short wicks in micro coils, basically just long enough to have each wick end firmly contact the deck. Worked well for me and I never felt I didn't have both wicks good and wet.
