I absolutely love the style of Big "O" with his O shaped squonker hole. Today is the first day I set him up for squonking and it is wonderful!

here he is with RWAC & XOER

I have a question though. The bottom is very rounded also, and he wants to tip over. I basically have to set him against something most of the time or he will tip over.
Any ideas. Can this be fixed or should I leave well enough alone? He has a cool on/off switch on the bottom I did not see on JD.

Some of the older Woodvils were made more rounded. Robert addressed that in later runs.

You can send it to him if you want him to work on getting the bottom to sit better.

See if the on and off switch is sticking out and causing the tipping. I have had that happen also.

I do love the oval squonk holes. To me they are worth a little more care to prevent falls/tips.

I guess it is more of an oval huh. I had him just up there for removal of his collar so I could use different attys. I think I should just leave it be. Enough modification as is.

Never put him down. Problem solved :)
Perfect solution!
Maybe a mod holder of some kind would help.:D

WOW, you have a good eye. At first I thought, well how does she know it is THAT ONE. But yes, I see the wood pattern on the maple door. How cool is that!:2cool: What run is that? Can we pinpoint how old he is? He is in tremendously brand new shape. Amazing!
I need to learn the proper way to keep him in this condition. I love the smell and the feel of the woodvil in my hand. Am I weird?

Oh I see now!
03/18/11 1st batch Woodvils
Awesome:D He is even more special than I thought.

I have lots of practice searching the pics for my wood REO's! Yes, the grain on the door is what I saw and knew I could spot.

I always use Howard's SunShield Wax on all my wood REO's. It has UV protection. Bought mine on Amazon.

Always put wax on the inside and the inside of the door. It really soaks it in.

And no, you are not weird, or if you are I am probably more weird for loving to hold my wood REOs a lot! LOL!
