Philip Morris International just announced that it has purchased a nicotine aerosol technology from inventor Jed Rose. PMI.com News Release May 26, 2011

These new nicotine aerosol products may be even better cigarette substitutes than electronic cigarettes, and have the potential to save the lives of tens of millions of smokers.

It's no surprise Philip Morris buy's up everything in the Cig world they can however I cant see myself using aerosol myself and enjoying more than I do my PV's and vapor, time will tell !

An aerosol sounds like some kind of inhaler device - similar to that used for asthma medication. Yet the involvement of Philip Morris suggests something more 'cigarette like'. The hand-to-mouth dynamic will still need to be there to appeal to analog smokers.
