bigger air hole on mini DID clone

i decided to bore out the airhole on my DID clone to match my real DIDs and it turned out pretty nice, so i kept going out of curiosity and well it's huge now and i really like it. it's so airy i pretty much have to do lung inhales lol oh and i did it by hand with a screw

Hey. I just got my first MDC and, after a while, got it set up how I wanted. And I've been seriously thinking about doing some air hole drilling myself. I got it to 1.2mm, standard for my AGAs etc. And the draw is still really tight and hot. I was thinking of adding a 1/32" hole just above it, but I over drilled once in the past, and I don't wanna go there again. Any feedback, suggestions?

3/32 drill bit is just about right also some drip tips have the holes bored out a bit bigger than others. so you can always ajust with the tip.

yeah drip tips make a difference as well, the one i have on there is wide open, i don't know anything about drill bits hence the screw method. i'm no expert either i just got sick of the tight draw on it and it's been sitting here for about 3 months unused.
i have no clue how big that air hole is now since i have no way of measuring it but it's definitely not something for all day use.

if you're considering drilling something out i'd suggest starting small and testing before going bigger cause even .2mm is a huge difference

Well, now, 3/32 is BIG. But your suggestion made me brave and I added a 1/32 above the 3/64 i had already done. That is working pretty good for me. (20 yrs of smoking, I like to feel a little resistance on the draw, like I'm used to). And thanks for the drip tip idea, my biggest hole/shallowest waist one almost did it. Now I'm back to a tighter one. It's still a bit hot on vape tho, might try a milder coil than current 1.8Ω 30g (6/7 wrap, but the wick is tiny!) Anyway, THANKS

Pick yourself up a numbered bit set. You can make small incremental changes that way. Less chance of overshooting your happy place that way.
